Edith A. PIAQUADIO, 103, of Galeton, PA, died Saturday, July 18, 2026 in her home.  Born November 11, 1922, in Galeton, she was the daughter of Pasquale J. “Pete” and Grazia Filomena “Grace” Martuscelli Pagano.  

She was married to Gaitano Louis “Guy” Piaquadio, who predeceased her on May 25, 1984.  She was employed by Galeton Production, Martin’s Store, and worked in the Galeton School cafeteria.  She was a member of St. Bibiana Catholic Church in Galeton.  

Surviving are: two sons, Charles Piaquadio of Ilion, NY and Guy (Yvette) Piaquadio of Galeton; a daughter, Judy (Jerry) Linder of Utica, NY; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.  

In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a daughter-in-law, Juanita Piaquadio; seven brothers, Frank J. Pagano, James C. Pagano, Albert F. Pagano, Anthony P. Pagano, Carmine J. Pagano, Alfred A. Pagano, and Ernest C. Pagano; and four sisters, Rose Close, Mary McConnell, Agnes O’Brien, and Genevieve Tarantelli.  

A Mass of Christian Burial at St. Bibiana Catholic Church, Galeton will be announced on a later date.  Edith will be interred in West Hill Cemetery, Galeton with her husband, Guy.  Memorials may be made to Goodyear Hose Company or the Galeton Fireworks Committee.
