Angelica, NY – When the Allegany County Democrats gather for their next “Coffee with Democrats” on Saturday, November 14^th in Alfred, they’ll be collecting non-perishable food and personal care items to be donated Allegany County’s newest food pantry, located at the Shongo Country Chapel in Shongo, NY.

“The need for help with food and other necessities never seems to diminish. One glaring consequence of this dismal economy is increasing food insecurity.  Families are struggling more than ever before to put enough food on the table. We’re so grateful to the congregation and leadership of the Shongo Country Chapel for helping to address this need, and we’re eager to help support this effort.”

The event runs from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Alfred Union University Church Center, corner of Church and W. Main Streets. The event is open to all registered Democrats and friends of Democrats. Coffee and light snacks will be served. Sign up here to attend and don’t forget your pantry donation.  If you can’t attend but would like to drop off donations, contact us at info@acdcny.org
