CUBA, NY – Cuba Memorial Hospital (CMH) is hosting a day of health education and celebrating history for the “Through the Ages” celebration and health fair. The event will take place on Saturday, August 22, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Palmer Opera House in Cuba, NY.

The free event celebrates Cuba Memorial Hospital’s century of commitment to caring for the community while showcasing the services and dedicated professionals who continue to shape healthcare in the community.

Guests of all ages are invited to participate in health screenings and wellness activities, reminisce about the over 100-year history of the hospital as well as learn more about the many services available in Cuba.

“Through the Ages is an opportunity to celebrate our history while looking ahead to the future of healthcare in our community,” said Kathy Morris, chair, CMH Board of Directors. “Whether you’ve been a patient, worked at the hospital, volunteered or simply want to learn more about the services available locally, we invite everyone to join us for this special day.”

Throughout the event, attendees can enjoy:

·         Meet-and-greet opportunities with healthcare professionals and hospital leaders

·         Historical displays highlighting Cuba Memorial Hospital through the years

·         Giveaways, refreshments and family-friendly entertainment

The event is designed to promote healthy living while celebrating the generations of patients, employees and families who have made Cuba Memorial Hospital an important part of the community.
