Christopher R. Baker “beloved father, son, brother and uncle”
ELDRED, PA—Christopher R. “Chris” Baker, 46, of Eldred, formerly of Roulette, passed away in his home with his loving family by his side on Monday, June 29, 2026.
Born on Wednesday, December 19, 1979 in Coudersport, he was a son of Roger L. Baker and Holly J. Phillips Baker Carpenter. On June 9, 2015 in Shinglehouse, he married Heather L. Siebert, who passed away on November 19, 2015.
Chris was a graduate of Port Allegany High School. In 2001, Chris began his employment as a sales representative for Fairway Ford in Bradford until 2005. He then was employed as finance manager for Ed Schultz in Jamestown returning to Bradford in 2015 where he served as general manager of Bradford Dodge and Fairway Ford.
Work was Chris’ hobby. His life was devoted to his son, Wyatt and his daughter, Brandi.
Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Holly Carpenter of Eldred; his son, Wyatt L. Baker, at home; his daughter, Brandi; two brothers, Jason L. Baker of Bradford and Joseph S. (Heather) Baker of Eldred; his cherished nieces and nephews, Michael Baker, Seth (Brelynn) Bigley, Emily Baker, Charlotte “Charlie” Baker, and Sophia Baker; and two grandnieces, Payton Bigley and Suede Bigley.
In addition to his father and wife, Chris was predeceased by a sister, Laura B. Baker; and a brother, Michael B. Baker.
Family and friends may gather from 11an to 1pm on Thursday, July 2, 2026, at Port Allegany Alliance Church, 414 Mill Street, Port Allegany, where funeral services will follow at 1pm with Dr. Jason Tronetti, Pastor Tim Miller, and Pastor Mike Culver, officiating. Chris will be laid to rest with his wife, Heather, in Card Creek Cemetery, Roulette.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Chris’ name may be made to the Port Allegany Alliance Church, 414 Mill Street, Port Allegany, PA 16743.
Chris entrusted his care to Kevin J. Dusenbury, Funeral Director/Owner of the Virgil L. Howard Funeral Home, Shinglehouse.
