The Education Council is featuring four tours in 2026 and one (so far!) in 2027!
Discover the Pacific Northwest and California (May 24 – May 31, 2026): Journey through the breathtaking blend of rugged coastlines, lush forests, and vibrant cities. We began in Seattle, where the skyline shimmered under moody skies and the aroma of fresh coffee filled the air. From there, we explored the moss-draped rainforests and misty beaches of Olympic National Park, then drove down the Oregon coast, stopping at quaint seaside towns and dramatic cliffsides. In Northern California, the towering redwoods humbled us, and the scenic drive along Highway 1 offered endless ocean views. San Francisco greeted us with its iconic Golden Gate Bridge, colorful neighborhoods, and unbeatable food scene. As we continued south, we soaked in the sunshine of Santa Barbara, explored the creative energy of Los Angeles, and ended our adventure among the palm-lined streets and golden beaches of San Diego. Discover Canadian Rockies and Glacier National Park (July 24 – July 30, 2026): Join us for an unforgettable adventure into some of North America’s most awe-inspiring wilderness. We begin in Calgary and cross into Montana to experience Glacier National Park was equally breathtaking, with its dramatic Going-to-the-Sun Road, hidden waterfalls, and rugged backcountry trails. We kayaked on crystal-clear lakes, stood beneath towering mountain faces, and watched sunsets that painted the sky in hues of gold and pink. It was a journey filled with natural wonder, peaceful solitude, and the kind of scenery that stays with you forever.

Discover South Dakota featuring Mount Rushmore and the Badlands (September 9 – September 15, 2026): Our trip to South Dakota and the Badlands was a rugged and unforgettable dive into the heart of the American frontier. We explored the surreal landscapes of Badlands National Park, where jagged rock formations, layered with ancient colors, stretched to the horizon and bison roamed the open prairie. Sunrise and sunset lit the canyons in fiery shades of orange and gold, making each day feel like a postcard come to life. We wandered scenic overlooks, hiked winding trails, and even spotted bighorn sheep clinging to the cliffs. Outside the park, we visited the iconic faces of Mount Rushmore and the powerful in-progress sculpture of Crazy Horse Memorial, both rich in history and scale. A drive through Custer State Park brought us face-to-face with massive buffalo herds, winding roads like the Needles Highway, and serene alpine lakes. Quirky roadside attractions like Wall Drug and the eerie Minuteman Missile Site added a dose of Americana charm to the adventure. From sweeping views to unexpected wildlife encounters, the trip captured the wild spirit and striking beauty of the Great Plains.
Discover Christmas Markets of Montreal and Quebec City (December 7 – December 13, 2026): Enchanting winter experiences and magical Christmas markets await in Quebec City and Montreal, each with its own unique charm and character. Set out on a festive journey to two French Canadian cities in the heart of the holiday season. Learn the art of making a traditional Bûche de Noël and explore the dessert’s history. Explore Quebec City’s German Christmas Market. Highlights of the trip include: Quebec City’s German Christmas Markets; Montreal’s Christmas Markets; Montmorency Falls; Maple Sugar Shack; and the Bûche de Noël Workshop.
And in 2027 – Sunny Portugal Discovery (March 7 – March 16, 2027): From the Portuguese capital, Lisbon, to the sunny cliffs of the Algarve and the Portuguese Riviera, venture along Portugal’s stunning shoreline. Encounter picturesque resort towns, winding cobblestone streets, oceanfront promenades, and quaint villages. Learn about the importance of cork to the Portuguese culture and economy at a family-owned cork factory. Get a taste of Portuguese gin. Highlights of the trip include: Lisborn, Belem, the Cork Factory, Evora, Alentejo, Algarve, the Portuguese Riviera, and much more!
