Deborah Cable Suppa, 70, of Warren, PA., died Sunday, September 29, 2024, at her daughter’s residence, surrounded by her family, after a long-fought battle with cancer. She was born July 28, 1954, in Warren, PA. Debbie was the daughter of Paul W. and Delores Buerkle Cable.
She was a lifelong Warren area resident. Debbie was a 1972 graduate of Warren Area High School and Seneca School of Nursing, where she graduated as a license practical nurse. She was employed at Warren General Hospital, W.C.A. Hospital of Jamestown, N.Y. and Dr. Vogus’s office.

Milford James “Mike” Clayson, 89, of 924 King Street, Olean, entered into the Lord’s rest on Monday, September 30, 2024 after a lengthy illness.
Kathleen M. “Kay” Scida, 98, of 12, Powers Ave, Johnsonburg, passed away Saturday morning, October 5, 2024, at DuBois Nursing Home, DuBois following a lengthy illness.
She was born on November 4, 1925, in Redruth, Cornwall, England, a daughter to the late Thomas and Florence Gunn.
On August 7, 1946, in Holy Rosary Church, Johnsonburg, she married Joseph J. “Joe” “Patsy” Scida. He preceded her in death on August 4, 2024.
Kenneth James Wilson, 84, of Wellsboro, passed away Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at his home. He was born January 22, 1940, in Wellsboro, the son of the late Charles and Louise (Knapp) Wilson.
Ken worked as an Equipment Operator for PennDot and prior worked for Walker Tire, Wellsboro. He was also an accomplished carpenter, he enjoyed woodworking, gardening, and working on his family farm.
He also enjoyed tinkering and fixing things in his own way. Ken was a member of Coolidge Hollow Methodist Church. He enjoyed scuba diving at Keuka Lake, even though he could not swim.
Barbara Ann Allen Premus, 70, died Tuesday, October 1, 2024, after a long illness. She was born July 11, 1954, in Warren, Pennsylvania to the late Edward A. and Barbara A. (nee McClellan) Allen.
Barbara was a 1972 graduate of Warren Area High School. She graduated with a degree in Computer Science from Edinboro State College. For many years she was employed with Unisys and the New York Office of People with Disabilities.
Alexander J. “Al” Harrison, 82, of Warren, PA., and formerly of Lake Worth, Florida. Al was born June 14, 1942, in Warren, PA. He was the son of Richard W. and Barbara Morrison Harrison. He was a Warre area resident most of his life. He was a 1960 graduate of Warren Area High School. He received an associate degree in Police Science and Administration from Los Angeles City College, Los Angeles, CA., in 1963.
He was a 1973 graduate of Broward County Police Academy, located in Fort Lauderdale, FL. He was employed for 2 years at Hillsboro Beach Police Department and in 1975, transferred to the Lauderdale Lakes Police Department, where he was awarded the Jim Moon Memorial Award as Outstanding Young Law Enforcement Officer, for the. Year of 1976, by the Lauderdale Lakes Jaycees.
C. Louise McLaughlin, 89, of Custer City, passed away Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at the Bradford Regional Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family.
Born December 31, 1934, in Bradford, she was a daughter of the late Hugh and Esther L. (Wolfgang) Coy. She was a 1952 graduate of Bradford Area High School.
Leo A. BAKER, 73, of Genesee, PA, died Wednesday, October 2, 2024. Born April 23, 1951, in Westfield, he was the son of Leo and Marian Virginia Troutman Baker.
A U.S. Army Veteran, he served honorably from May 15, 1970 – December 29, 1971. He was employed as an inspector at nuclear power plants and as an x-ray technician on pipeline construction.
Leo was a member of Carl E. Hyde American Legion Post #963 in Ulysses and Loyal Order of Moose in Galeton.

Luan was born September 23, 1958 in Wellsville and was the daughter of Donald E. and Rosemarie Tarr Matteson Sr. On August 14, 1998 she married her loving husband Leonard L. Woodruff who survives.
Roderick D. Corey, 67, of Coudersport, passed away Wednesday, October 2, 2024, peacefully at his home. Known for his rugged exterior, but even more so for the kindness and compassion that lay beneath, Rod left an indelible mark on the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Rod was born on February 11, 1957, in Coudersport, the son of the late Dean H. and Jean L. (Simpier) Corey.Rod was a graduate of Coudersport High School, Class of 1975. He worked alongside his father as a skilled carpenter, helping build many homes in the area, including his own. These early years instilled in him a strong work ethic and pride in creating something lasting with his hands, traits that would carry him through a diverse and fulfilling career in the skilled trades.

Dustin A. Morrison, 40, passed away Friday (September 27, 2024) as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. Born June 13, 1984 in Olean, he was the son of Gary “Doc” (Diane) Morrison and Patricia (Mike) Rogozinski.
Dustin attended Bolivar Central School, and Allegany County BOCES where he received certification in welding and auto mechanics. He used his mechanical skills to fix most any engine, and he especially loved working on car engines. His hobbies included fishing, camping, and collecting coins. A favorite memory of his was go-cart racing with his father and brother Derrick. He worked as a construction subcontractor in the area for many years. Dustin’s children were the lights of his life. He enjoyed family gatherings, and he was always willing to help anyone who was in need.
Cynthia L. “Cindy” CRANCE, 74, of Belmont, NY, died Monday, September 30, 2024 in Jones Memorial Hospital, Wellsville. Born January 1, 1950, in Wellsville, she was the daughter of Helen MaCauley Crance. A graduate of Scio Central School, she was employed by Highland Park as a nurse’s aide and Giant in Wellsville.
Mary F. Neudeck, loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend
Mary F. Neudeck, of Portville, tragically died in a motor vehicle accident on her 70th birthday on September 27, 2024.
Mary was a 1972 graduate of Salamanca High School. She was married to the love of her life Terry Neudeck for 51 years. Together they raised their two children, Denah Heidinger (Jeremy) of Madison, Ohio, and Dustin Neudeck (Leslie) of Orting, Washington, in Portville sharing their love for their community. Mary was involved in the Portville Fire Department for many years as a member of the auxiliary and the Portville Conservation Club. She was quick to volunteer her time helping throughout her community and share a smile as her and her husband did their walks. She was also quick to lovingly volunteer for 9 years at EAA main gate north for a yearly trip with her beloved family in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. She was active working with the Portville Legion riders along with anyone that reached out for help. She retired from Cattaraugus County Department of Aging Meals on Wheels in 2016 and began to plan trips around the US with her husband.
Thomas “Grover” D. Vollmer, 64, of Jackson Road, St. Marys, passed away Saturday, September 28, 2024 at Ridgeview Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Curwensville.
He was born on July 11, 1960 in St. Marys, son of the late Edward J. and Mary Lee Green Vollmer.
Tom is survived by a sister, Paula Vollmer of St. Marys and four brothers: Steve (Kay), Randy, Greg, and Eric Vollmer, all of St. Marys; his niece, Kayla (Kyle) of St. Marys and nephew, Eddie (Mackenzie) of St. Marys.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Jean Vollmer.
Tom was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying his time in the woods hunting, fishing, and camping. He enjoyed a simple walk in the woods, taking pictures of nature, and playing cards. He was a kind man and cherished being an uncle to his niece and nephew, who meant the world to him. He was looking forward to becoming a great-uncle.
Services for Tom will be held privately by the family and burial will be in the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.

Beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother
On September 20, 2024, Gloria Butler (Mosley) Coursey (94) went home to be with her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
Gloria was born on January 3, 1930 to James (John) L Butler and Jeanette E (Hall) Butler. She was a Cherokee Native American from Ahoskie, NC.
She grew up in Milford, DE from the age of 5. Gloria married Melvin (Puddy) Coursey on March 17, 1951 and they shared 73 loving years together. They moved to Philadelphia in 1953 where she taught 6th grade in the Phila school district. In 1997, Gloria and Melvin relocated to Potter County, PA where they enjoyed their retirement in the mountains with the deer, bear and racoons.
Surviving besides her husband, Melvin, are: 2 daughters, Lawanna (Billy) Donnelly of Langhorne, PA, Tonya (David) Mosley of Milford, DE, and 1 son Melvin Jr (Megan) Coursey of Derwood, MD; 5 Grandchildren, Shannon (Dan) Sweeney, Megan Donnelly, Erin Coursey, Chloe Coursey, Hayden Coursey; and 2 Great-Granddaughters Kaylee Sweeney and Agnes Coursey.
She was predeceased by 2 daughters, Wanda and Carla Coursey, a brother, Lycurgus (Curtis) Butler, her parents and her step-father, Kimmie Mosley.

Carolyn F. Penrose, 56, of Coudersport, formerly of Easton, MD, passed away Monday, September 30, 2024, at her home. She was born on January 30, 1968, in West Chester, the daughter of Cuma D. Mitten of Coudersport and David F. Penrose of Lewes, DE.
Carolyn was a graduate of Unionville-Chadds Ford School District, Class of 1986, she also attended Culinary School in Philadelphia. Carolyn worked as a cook for Harborside Bar & Grill in Ocen City, MD for 15 years, and recently for A& W West End Grill. Carolyn of Catholic faith and was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church, West Chester. She was a member of the American Legion, Potter Post 192, Ladies Auxiliary, and enjoyed cooking and reading.
In addition to her parents, Carolyn is survived by her sister, Catherine Panzram of Oxford, PA; her long-time companion, Bob Swanson of Easton, MD; and several uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and a great nephew. She was preceded in death by a brother, David Penrose, and a stepfather, Donald Mitten.
There will be private family visitation. Family and friends are invited to a graveside service, Saturday, October 5, 2024, at 11:00 am at Sweden Hill Cemetery, Coudersport, with Father Chris Wheeler, officiating.

Tonya Lynn Schmerbeck, 62, of Coudersport, passed away Monday, September 30, 2024, at her home. She was born on November 3, 1961, in Coudersport, the daughter of the late Murrel and Shirley (Sharp) Hurd. Tonya married John R. Schmerbeck on November 5, 1988, and celebrated 32 years of marriage until his passing on October 26, 2021.
Tonya was a waitress and bar tender for the Allegheny Club, Hollidaysburg and was a member of the American Legion, Potter Post 192, Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed cooking, crafts, and was a big NASCAR and Pittsburgh Steeler fan.
Robert A. Cheatle, 63, of Rossiter, PA and formerly of St. Marys, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, September 22, 2024 at Haverilla Personal Care Home.
Bobby was born July 23, 1961 in St. Marys, son of the late Francis B. and Rose Celin Cheatle. He was a graduate of Elk County Christian High School, Class of 1979, where he excelled in his studies.
He is survived by his caring aunts: Virginia “Ginna” Volovar, Catherine Olson, and Elizabeth “Betty” Cheatle, all of St. Marys and numerous cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, David Cheatle.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in Queen of the World Church on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at 10:00AM with Rev. Jeffery Noble, Pastor, celebrating.

Julianne “Julie” (Costanzo) Cogley, 68, passed away peacefully at home on September 29, 2024 after a courageous battle with ovarian cancer.
Julie was born on May 1, 1956 in Punxsutawney to her late parents Frank and Mildred Swarmer Costanzo. Julie attended Saints Cosmos and Damian elementary school, then moved to the public school system and graduated in May 1974. Julie was very active and popular in high school, as she was elected vice-president of student counsel and voted as basketball queen in her senior year.
Julie and her husband, Bob, started dating toward the end of their junior year in high school. They were wed on October 9, 1976, in Punxsutawney.Julie worked at Nay W. Shields Insurance Agency in Punxsutawney from 1973 until February 1985 when she, Bob, and their daughter Angela moved to Corry, PA upon Bob’s assignment with the Pennsylvania State Police. While living in Corry, Julie gave birth to their son, Brian.
In 1987, they moved to Saint Marys, PA. Julie started working at Andrew Kaul Memorial Hospital in 1987 and retired from Penn Highlands Elk in May 2019.
Julie enjoyed her work and loved to read, cook, and bake. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and dear friends. Julie was known to bring love, joy, and positivity into everything she did.
Julie is survived by her husband Robert “Bob” Cogley, her daughter Angela Wirick (Mike) of Gibsonia, PA, her son Brian (Kayla) Cogley of Cranberry Twp., PA, her sister Peg Henninger of Walston, PA, and her sister-in-law Barbara Costanzo of Dubois, PA. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and her grandchildren Caitlin Wirick, and Connor, Brock, Grant, and Callie Cogley.
In addition to her parents, Julie was preceded in death by her brother, Jim Costanzo, her sister, Judy Giffin, and her grandson, Noah Wirick.
A celebration of life for Julie will be held in the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home on October 12, 2024 from 10:00AM until 12:00PM. A funeral service will immediately follow with Rev. Thomas Curry, O.S.B., officiating.

Evelyn C. Green, 77, formerly of St. Marys, passed away Monday, September 30, 2024 at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh, NC.

Michael James “Dirt” Rhoades, 68, of Gates Hollow, Bradford, passed away at his home on September 29, 2024 surrounded by family.
Born on October 8, 1955, in Bradford, he was a son of Alberta (Smead) Cobb.
Mike lived in Willow Creek and Bradford throughout his life and was a 1974 graduate of Bradford Area High School.
He worked for Halliburton and Universal Well Services until his diagnosis of Secondary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis in 1994.
Despite being quadriplegic, Mike was able to live his best life at home. He always had a positive outlook and inspired those around him with his strength and optimism. He was a loving father, grandfather, and husband who will be remembered for his kindness, humor, and love for the simple things in life. He enjoyed spending time with family, gardening, watching the birds, listening to his classic rock, talking with his friends from the oil fields, and enjoying the outdoors sitting under the apple tree. His simple life at home meant the world to him.
He leaves behind his beloved wife Beth Ann (Price) Rhoades, whom he married December 19, 1975, two children: Emily Rhoades (Jeremy Lingenfelter) and Katie Greene (Mike Greene), and two granddaughters Daisy Greene and Violet Greene, and one brother, Bill Good (Beth Soble).
Mike was predeceased by his mother, and four brothers, Stanley Rhoades, David Rhoades, Mark Rhoades, and Bruce Rhoades.
In keeping of the wishes of Mike, there will be no funeral services.

Eric J. LUCE, 38, of Genesee, PA, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday September 28, 2024 at home.
Born November 13, 1985, in Jones Memorial Hospital, Wellsville NY, he was the son of Ricky Luce and Kathleen Farley Luce. A 2004 Graduate of Whitesville Central School, he was employed by Air Preheater in Wellsville as a machinist for several years and Morgan AM&T in Coudersport for short time.
Robert C. Gnan Sr., 87, of S. Michael Road., passed away on Saturday, September 28, 2024, at Magee Hospital in Pittsburgh following a brief illness.
He was born on December 22, 1936 in Saint Marys, PA, a son of the late Joseph and Helen Ott Gnan.
On November 8, 1958, in Sacred Heart Church, he married Donna Wolford, who preceded him in death on January 5, 2017. Together they shared more than 58 years of love, laughter, and marriage.
Bob was a veteran of the United States Army Reserves and was a member of Queen of the World Church. He retired from Powdered Metal Products after more than 46 years of service.
In his free time, he loved going to camp and hunting. He enjoyed working around the house and tinkering with things. Whenever Bob would get a new car, he enjoyed adding all the bells and whistles to customize it the way he wanted. He will be remembered for the love and pride he had for his tractors. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family.
