At 12:35 PM on Wednesday, Mt. Jewett Fire & EMS, Hamlin Township Fire & Kane ambulance have been called to a 2 vehicle crash in front of Sheetz on Rt. 219 in Lantz Corners. 4 occupants are reported with at least one with injuries.
At 11:44 AM on Wednesday, Port Allegany Ambulance has been dispatched to Rt. 155 North for abdominal pain.
At 11:15 AM on Wednesday, Ridgway Fire Rescue & EMS have been dispatched to Rt. 120 for a head-on crash between a passenger vehicle and a box truck with injuries & entrapment. Box truck is down in a ravine. One of the injured is an 81 year old male.
11:48 AM–Fire Police opened Rt. 120 with traffic control moved to accident scene at Dagas-Cahonda.
At 10:38 AM on Wednesday, Belmont, Scio, Friendship Fire & Amity Rescue have been dispatched to a structure fire at 4107 Irons Road, Lot 10. Angelica pumper to stand by at Belmont.
At 10:08 AM on Wednesday, Austin Fire & EMS have been dispatched to 744 Bark Shanty Road for a 2 vehicle crash with injuries. Air medical requested to UPMC Cole LZ. Air medical cancelled.
At 8:00 AM on Wednesday, Westfield, Knoxville & several ambulances have been dispatched to Rt. 49 & 249 for a school bus with students aboard that hit a deer and a guardrail. 9 students are reporting injuries and will be transported to UPMC Wellsboro for evaluation & treatment.
Road is currently closed at that location.
Only two students are determined to have a possibly serious injury. The remaining students not transported by ambulance will all be transported to the hospital for evaluations.
The original report was a request for traffic control for a disabled school bus. Upon Fire Dept. arrival on scene, it was found that there was an accident with injuries.

At 2:50 PM on Tuesday, Wellsville Fire Dept. has been dispatched to Jones Memorial Hospital for an automatic fire alarm on the third floor.
At 2:42 PM on Tuesday, Whitesville Fire Dept. & Independence Rescue dispatched to an automatic fire alarm at Whitesville Central School in the Specials wing. There is a confirmed Fire in the gymnasium. Mutual aid is being dispatched for standby in Whitesville.

At 12:06 PM on Tuesday, Mt. Jewett & Hamlin Firefighters have just been dispatched to Sheetz at Lantz Corners for a natural gas leak inside the structure.
On 12/19/2022 Cuba Fire Department responded to a structure fire on West Shore Rd at 18:18. First arriving units found a 2 story structure with smoke showing from the 2nd floor. All residents were out of the structure and unharmed. Several area departments responded including Friendship Fire Department , New Hudson Fire Company ,Clarksville, Rushford Fire Department , Weston Mills Lyndon NY Fire Co. , Cuba Ambulance and Cuba Police Department .and Hinsdale Fire Department for standby crew.

Ann V. (Adamson) Erney, age 92, of Mansfield, PA, died on Friday, December 16, 2022.
She was born on March 15, 1930 in Frackville, PA, a daughter of the late David and Florence (Mockaitis) Adamson. She was married for 66 years to the late Arthur D. Erney who passed away on March 13, 2017.
Ann was a member of the Wellsboro Art Club and enjoyed painting, reading and arranging flowers.
She is survived by three sons: David (Lynn) Erney of Moorestown, NJ, Bob Erney of Wildwood, FL, Chris (Jacci) Erney of Accokeek, MD, daughter: Susan (Michael) Cummings of Mansfield, PA sister-in-law: Marilyn Adamson of Sellersville, PA, 7 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and a great great grandson.
Ann was predeceased by a brother: David Richard Adamson in 2011. A
family memorial service will be held at a later date.
