BRMC and OGH Present Monthly Star Awards
BRADFORD, PA / OLEAN, NY – Bradford Regional Medical Center (BRMC) and Olean General Hospital (OGH), Kaleida Health facilities, are proud to announce the September 2024 Star Award winners. This September’s winners were Sue Conner, BRMC, and Katie Ford, OGH.
The Meals on Wheels office coordinator since August 2022, Sue Conner was recognized as the September 2024 BRMC Star Award winner.
“Sue arrives to work with a smile on her face and ready to make everyone’s day a little better. She is always willing to help out wherever needed and without any complaints: many times, offering her help before she is even asked,” said her nomination. “Sue has been known to donate items to the Volunteer and Meals on Wheels programs without any desire of recognition. She has and continues to volunteer her time to participate in community events to represent BRMC. We appreciate her dedication to the hospital, the volunteer program, and Meals on Wheels program.”
Katie Ford who has been a lead CT tech at OGH since April 2017 was presented as the September 2024 Star Award recipient.
“Katie consistently helps others in any way she is needed with no questions asked! She never leaves when the workload is too great for the next shift to do on their own. She always steps up to fill a void when no one else will. She remains calm under pressure and is kind to anyone she encounters,” according to her nomination. “Katie works in any area without complaint and always makes things run smoother when she is there. Katie is like having two employees in one!”
The Star Award is presented monthly to an employee who demonstrates outstanding performance and inspires the same in others.
