The regular meeting of the Liberty Township Supervisors was called to order at 8:30AM by Chairman, Dick Brown. Also attending were Supervisor Neil Shepard, Secretary Cindy Speeth, Whitey Brundage and Ed Vicic.
REPORTS:
1 Ambulance Report for May, 2024 was not received.
2. Whitey Brundage read the fire report for April, 2024 and there were 9 calls for Liberty Township. He thanked the township for working with the fire company on reports of downed trees. He said the fire company was doing well but could use more people.
3. Secretary’s Report for April 11, 2024 Regular Meeting was presented and unanimously accepted on a motion by Supervisor Shepard and a second by Chairman Brown.
4. Treasurer’s Report for the month of May, 2024 was presented and unanimously accepted on a motion by Supervisor Shepard and a second by Chairman Brown. Chairman Brown stated that in the General Fund there were bills paid in the amount of $39,897.12 revenues received in the amount of $90,293.75 and a balance of $69,004.14. In the State Fund there were bills paid in the amount of $8,803.19 and a balance of $195,940.09.
Chairman Brown said that the information on the blacktopping work is as follows:
475 tons used on Comes Creek $39,615(coming out of the State Fund)
253 tons of 19mm $16,951
325 tons of 9.5mm 27,105
used on Wrights ________
$34,956 (coming out of Act 13 monies)
20.19 tons
327.75 tons of 9.5 used on Freer Hollow $28,712.00 (coming out of Liquid Fuels Gen. Fund)
Total tons used 1,400.75
CORRESPONDENCE:
1. Chairman Brown presented a letter from Lang Surveying regarding the Bonneau to Jackson subdivision in Liberty Township. It was approved.
2. Chairman Brown presented a letter from Lang Surveying regarding the Culver family subdivision, The Supervisors did not approve it because it was not signed by Roger Bickleman, the sewage officer.
Chairman Brown made all correspondence available to the public.

As no further business was brought before the Board, the meeting was unanimously adjourned at 8:47 a.m. on a motion by Supervisor Shepard and a second by Chairman Brown.
