Nancie R. Anderson, 72, of 6624 Ridgway-Johnsonburg Road, Johnsonburg, PA passed away Wednesday morning, January 10, 2024, at her residence following a brief illness.

She was born in St. Marys, on January 13, 1951, daughter to the late Albert and Margaret Seeley Sarginger. On December 9, 1972, in Holy Rosary Church, Johnsonburg, she married David G. Anderson and he survives.

Nancie grew up in St. Marys and was a 1968 graduate of Elk County Christian High School. She was also a 1972 graduate of Clarion State College with a BS in Business. She was a member of Holy Rosary Church, the Red Hats, Women Who Care and the Johnsonburg Library Book Club. She was an avid reader, she loved her flower gardens, decorating for holidays and traveling around the country.

Nancie had retired from Keystone Trucking of Ridgway in 2008 after 15 years of service.

In addition to her husband David at home, Nancie is survived by her son Michael Anderson of St. Marys ands siblings David Sarginger (Carol) of VA, Debbie Assalone (Jim) of Weedville, Dorothy Harkenrider (Jim) of Beaver Dams, NY, Joann Dawson (Mark) of Blossom, TX and Gloria Sarginger of St. Marys. She is also survived by her adopted granddaughters Natalie and Delaney Dunworth and numerous nieces and nephews.

Nancie is predeceased by her parents and sisters Margie Sarginger and Judy Chamberlain.

Friends and family are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial for Nancie R. Anderson to be conducted at Holy Rosary Church, Johnsonburg on Saturday, January 13, 2024, at 10 AM with Fr. David Wilson, pastor, as celebrant. Interment will be in Holy Rosary Cemetery, Johnsonburg. There will be no visitation.

Arrangements are under direction of the Anthony F. Ferragine Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 401 Chestnut Street, Johnsonburg.
