Penn State Extension offers Private Pesticide Applicator Short Course in January
Penn State Extension of Potter County will offer a Private Applicator Pesticide Short Course on Wednesday, January 31st and Thursday, February 1st from 9 am to 3:30 pm. at their office in the Gunzburger Building, Room #216, Coudersport, PA. This course helps to prepare attendees for the PA Department of Ag private pesticide certification ex
am. Find out what you need for certification to safely apply restricted-use pesticides on your farm or other property.
Attendees will review and highlight key material in the Pesticide Core and Supplemental Manual. Chapters will be broken up with the inclusion of small group activities and breaks. Be part of a two-day event featuring presentations for each core manual chapter and the opportunity to ask any questions you have about the exam.
All participants are responsible for bringing their own private pesticide applicator core study manual training materials to the class. If you are planning to use study packets that were previously purchased, please be aware that some materials may have been updated.
