She is survived by one son David “Mitch” (Sue) Boylan of Mt. Jewett; three daughters, Debbie Defibaugh of Smethport, Lori (Ralph) Moyer of Charlotte, NC and Helen (Frank) Funari of New Wilmington; six grandchildren, Patty (Lance) Walker, Tom (Nikki) Boylan, Joe (Heather) Boylan, John Defibaugh, Vinnie Funari, and Linnea Funari; six great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren; one sister, Mary Moore, two sisters-in-law, Margaret and Barb Leichtenberger and many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday (Dec. 16) at 11:00 a.m. at St. Callistus Catholic Church with the Rev. William O’Brien as celebrant. The family will be receiving friends the hour preceding the service (10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.) in the Gathering Space at St. Callistus.
For those who may not be able to make it, the family will also be hosting a celebration of Elaine’s life some time in the summer. In lieu of flowers, the family recommends cooking or baking for others during the holiday season, which is what Elaine would be doing.
Memorial donations may be made to the Mt. Jewett Volunteer Fire Department or to their Women’s Auxiliary.
