Kathleen M. “Sissy” Glatt, 82, of St. Marys

Kathleen M. Glatt
Jan 19, 1944 — Oct 16, 2026
Kathleen M. “Sissy” Glatt, 82, of St. Marys, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 16, 2026, at her home.
She was born on January 19, 1944, in St. Marys, a daughter of the late Charles and Marie Daley Goetz.
On July 25, 2003, at St. Marys Church, she married Theodore Glatt, who preceded her in death in 2009.
Kathy was a graduate of Central High School, class of 1961. Kathy was a longtime member of the Eagles, the Elks, and the CMF, where she enjoyed the friendships and conversation she found throughout the years. A hard worker with a caring nature, Kathy spent many years working as a childcare technician at several hospitals, caring for children and families with kindness and compassion. Throughout her life, she put her creativity to work as a florist at Goetz’s Flowers. Together with her brother, Dickie, they brought many floral creations to life.
Kathy knew how to enjoy life and loved trips to the casino, playing cards and bingo, working on crossword puzzles, shopping, and bowling. She was also a woman who knew what she liked—a pack of Senecas nearby and, on occasion, a BV and water poured just the way she liked it. Above all, her niece Megan and great-nieces Adelynn and Everly were her whole world, and the time she spent with them meant more to her than anything. Kathy will be remembered for her hardworking spirit, outgoing personality, the friendships she made, and the tremendous love she had for her family.
Kathy is survived by her niece; Megan (Brandon) Bolden, and her two great nieces; Adelynn and Everly, whom she adored. She is also survived by her dear friend of many years; Amy (Kevin) Fedus and their children, Sammi and Alex.
In addition to her parents and husband, Kathy was preceded in death by two brothers; Paul Goetz and Richard “Dickie” Goetz.
