American Network of Community Options and Resources: This week, I met with the American Network of Community Options and Resources (ANCOR), which represents service providers for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Since its founding in 1970, ANCOR has served countless Americans with disabilities, advocating for policies that enhance and support their lives and their families. I had productive discussions about legislation I proudly support, the Recognizing the Role of Direct Support Professionals Act. I commend this group for their hard work in supporting men, women, and children with disabilities across the United States.
