BUFFALO MAN ARRESTED BY MCKEAN COUNTY DRUG FORCE CHARGED WITH DRUG DELIVERY

District Attorney Stephanie Vettenburg-Shaffer announces the recent arrest of a Buffalo man for drug crimes in McKean County.

Tyrone MOORE was arrested after an investigation by the McKean County Drug Task Force on July 16, 2026. Detectives charged MOORE with selling Fentanyl and Methamphetamine to an individual outside of a store on West Washington Street in Bradford in exchange for $300. Detectives charged him with 2 counts of Delivery/Possession with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance (Felony); 2 counts Possession of a Controlled Substance; and Criminal Use of a Communication Facility.

MOORE was arraigned by Magisterial District Judge David Engman who set bail at $150,000. MOORE was remanded to the McKean County Jail and schedule for central court. 9:00 AM, 10:30 A.M., and 12:30 P.M. -Pontoon Tours of the Stevenson Reservoir-Join park staff for a relaxing and informative tour around the lake, as we cruise the shoreline of the George B. Stevenson Reservoir in search of wildlife. Group size is limited. To reserve a seat, please pre-register. Registration is not required but is strongly recommended.

Sizerville State Park Environmental Education Programs, Weekend of July 18^th

Program Title: Wildlife Futures – Guest Presenter

Date: Saturday, July 18^th

Location: Environmental Learning Center

Description: Launched in 2019, the Wildlife Futures Program is a novel partnership between Penn Vet and the Pennsylvania Game Commission aimed at strengthening the resilience of the Commonwealth’s 480 species of birds and mammals. Join Brianna Micsky as she explains the goals, research, and importance of Wildlife Futures, along with showing us how the program is improving wildlife management in Pennsylvania and beyond.

Program Title: Fundamentals of Fur Harvesting – Guest Presenters

Date: Saturday, July 18^th

Location: Campground Amphitheater

Description: Join Paul Lilja and Jeff Dornisch from the PA Trappers Association for a presentation on all of Pennsylvania’s furbearer species, background information on trapping, and how to process the fur once the animal is harvested. There will be a Q&A session after the program—feel free to bring snacks & a blanket!
