North Central Pennsylvania Seeks Public Input for 2026–2030 Regional Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS)

RIDGWAY, PA: The North Central Pennsylvania Regional Planning and Development Commission (North Central) is inviting residents, businesses, and community leaders to participate in a short public survey to help shape the region’s 2026–2030 Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS).
The CEDS serves as the region’s economic roadmap, guiding priorities for workforce development, infrastructure investment, business growth, housing, innovation, and regional collaboration across Cameron, Clearfield, Elk, Jefferson, McKean, and Potter Counties. The strategy also ensures the region remains eligible for federal funding assistance through the U.S. Economic Development Administration (EDA).
Community input is a critical part of the CEDS process. Survey responses will help identify the region’s strengths, challenges, and opportunities to strengthen long-term economic competitiveness and resilience.
“This strategy will guide economic development decisions and investments for the next five years,” said Sherry Dumire, ARC/EDA Director “We encourage residents, employers, and community partners to share their perspectives to ensure the plan reflects the priorities of our entire region.”
The survey takes approximately 8–10 minutes to complete, and responses will remain confidential.

The survey will remain open through March 20, 2026
