Four CRCF Funds Make Possible Over $270,000 In Grants Early In 2026

OLEAN, N.Y., February 2 – Four donor designated funds at the Cattaraugus Region Community Foundation have together supported $270,401 in grants to organizations designated by their donors so far this year.
34 organizations received grants from the Mildred Milliman Fund, established by Mildred Milliman, together totaling $246,364.
The largest of said grants, $198,815 to the Olean General Hospital Foundation, was designated for general support.
Other grants from the fund this year include:

The Lewis & Doris Reisner Fund, established by Dr. Lewis C. Reisner, a long-time Olean OBGYN, and Doris Reisner, a dedicated community volunteer and one of the original founders of the ReHabilitation Foundation, provided a grant of $10,037 to the Olean General Hospital Foundation for a new labor and delivery bed.
The Reisner’s daughter-in-law, Ruth Reisner, represents the family in working with the Olean General Hospital Foundation to determine the annual use of this grant.
The Doris Reisner Fund, also established by Doris Reisner, supported ten annual grants totaling $8,388, including:

The Walt and Ruth Reisner Endowment Fund was established by Ruth Reisner after Walt’s passing in 2017 to support two causes near to their hearts. A grant of $4,209 was made to the Olean General Hospital Foundation for emergency medical services and obstetrics, while $1,403 was allocated to Southern Tier Health Care Systems, Inc. to train and educate EMS providers.
