84th Annual Pennsylvania State Laurel Festival

Pennsylvania State Laurel Queen Alice Ravert Will Crown Her Successor On June 20th.
The 84th Annual Pennsylvania State Laurel Festival includes the Pennsylvania State Laurel Queen competition on Friday and Saturday, June 19 and 20.
While in Wellsboro, the 22 queen candidates will enjoy a full weekend of activities. At noon Friday, June 19, they will gather on the Tioga County Courthouse steps for the official welcome.
The young ladies will then enjoy a picnic lunch and a visit to the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon. At 4:30 p.m., on the Deane Center’s outdoor stage, 2025 Laurel Queen Alice Ravert and the queen candidates will be introduced to the public at the Queens Preview and Concert. Featured will be the Molly’s Boys Jug Band. Bring lawn chairs. The rain location is the Coolidge Theatre at 104 Main Street.
Saturday afternoon, June 20, the young ladies will ride on floats in the 2 p.m. Laurel Festival Parade. That evening at 6:30 p.m., the coronation of the 2026 Pennsylvania State Laurel Queen will be on stage at the Wellsboro School District Auditorium on Nichols Street. Chris Eckert will perform. Tickets are available at the Wellsboro Area Chamber of Commerce at 114 Main Street in Wellsboro and will be available that night at the door.
The Juried Arts and Crafts Fair and International Street of Foods will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, June 19 and from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, June 20 with more than 100 vendors.
Featured during the Laurel Parade at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 20 will be floats, queens, drum and bugle corps, bagpipers, string bands, high school marching bands, antique vehicles and more. In celebration of America’s 250th anniversary, this year’s theme is “From Sea to Shining Sea.”
The festival concludes Sunday morning, June 21 with the 10:30 a.m. Union Church service on The Green.
