Timothy E. Patterson, Sr., 77, of 865 Bolivar Drive, Bradford, passed away, Friday, April 4, 2025, surrounded by family.
Born on May 3, 1947 in Bradford, he was a son of the late Arthur J. and Phyllis (Jacoby) Patterson.
He was a 1966 graduate from Bradford Area High School.
On October 3, 1966, he was drafted into the United States Army, he served in Vietnam for two years, seven months, and seven days. He was awarded the Air Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Purple Heart, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal w/Device 1960, Combat Infantryman Badge, Sharpshooter for the (M-14 Rifle) and (M-16 Rifle). He was honorably discharged on May 9, 1969.
Tim was an Assembler at Dresser Manufacturing for over 30 years, before retiring in 2000.
He loved walleye fishing, drinking his Pepsi, and was a jack of all trades including welding, carpentry, and many other skills.
Surviving are three daughters, Mary (Rusty Moore) Patterson, of Candler, NC, Linda (Jon) Alexander, of Bradford and New Tazewell TN, and Martha (Jeffrey) Barnes, of Limestone, NY, six sons, William (Amy) Patterson, of Bradford, Jeffrey (Elizabeth Brown) Patterson, of TN, Michael (Christine) Patterson, of FL, Ronald Patterson, of Bradford, Timothy (Rosanne) Patterson Jr, of Bradford, Robert Patterson, of Bradford, 26 grandchildren, and 31 great grandchildren, one niece, Tina Mertons, of Stockton, NY, and one nephew, Brian Vandermark, of NY.
Tim is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Susan Vandermark.
Services are private and at the convenience of family.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc.
