I’m sorry it took so long to let everyone know how grateful we are for all the prayers and help that everyone has shown us.  How can we ever thank you for all the kindness you have given to us during our time of need.

During the time the fire was engulfing our house Randi Causer came up to see if we were all right. She later told me that when she was leaving, the song, “10,000 Angels” was playing on the car radio and the Lord did send us 10,000 angels.  The churches, my postal family and all of you were our angels.

When our son Tom went to see if anything was left, he found our family bible still there.  Of course, it was in four pieces, but it was opened to a picture of Jesus with his arms outstretched.

You’ve been a godsend to us and we are blessed to know everyone.  I wish we could write all that’s in our hearts.  For when I think of all the people that helped and all the prayers that were sent, I can only thank the Lord for the love he has sent to us with/in you.

You have given us hope and shown us how many of God’s children there are.  How much this town and everyone else has done for us we’ll never be able to thank you enough.  Now that we can see at least a small light at the end of the tunnel, we know that it was only possible through everyone’s kindness and prayers.  Our family has been blessed by all of you and we pray to the Lord to protect and bless every one of you.
