As our busy practice continues to grow, we are seeking a Medical Assistant or LPN for 35-37.5 hours/week in our Roulette and St. Mary’s locations. Candidate must be willing to travel to both offices. Competitive compensation, with performance incentives, and paid holidays. This position is primarily clinical, however, will be cross-trained to cover front office duties. Must have a valid MA certificate or LPN license or be able to obtain within 6 months of hire. Must have proficient computer skills, experience with Medent is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills are necessary as is the ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities. Willing to train the right applicant. Valid driver’s license is required.

School Bus Rollover in Genesee

At 7:30 AM on Friday, Genesee Fire & EMS have been dispatched to 226 Ridge Road for a school bus rollover with injuries. Driver reports one girl with an obvious cut on her arm. The bus had thirty students on board. All are now out of the bus which is on its side.

Multiple ambulances are enroute to the scene. All students will be transported to a hospital for evaluation. Students are being transported to UPMC Coudersport. A triage location at the Wellness Center will screen the students for possible injuries.
