Potter County Education Council Early Childhood Programs
The Potter County Education Council is an educational non-profit, 501 (c)(3) organization dedicated to improving the quality of education in Potter and McKean Counties and the surrounding region. We assist regional residents in their pursuit of lifelong learning opportunities through assessing individual, occupational and community needs and providing educational programs to meet these needs. Visit our website at www.pottercountyedcouncil.org to learn more about all the ways we work to address the educational needs of our region.
We believe that a passion for lifelong learning needs to be established early in life, so we offer several programs and events for early childhood, elementary, and secondary level students including, but not limited to:
- The Dolly Parton Imagination Library Program
- Potter County Early Learning Team ‘s Early Literacy and Early Math Events
- Summer Camps (for elementary and secondary levels)
- Jordan Toma- Youth Motivational Speaker (Coming in September 2024!)
- Potter County Youth Leadership Program (launching in September 2024!)
- Financial Reality Fair(an event for 11th graders in April 2025)
- The Career Vocational Mentor Program (all Potter & McKean School Districts)
All of these programs help to establish and support children’s learning, but we can’t do it alone. Would you please consider donating to The Potter County Education Council to support these important programs for our regional youth? You are welcome to designate which specific program your donation will support, or you can provide a general donation, and we will determine the program it will support for our youth. The programs in boldface font are also participating in the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) program. You can donate on our website or send your donation to Potter County Education Council, 5 Water Street, P.O. Box 5, Coudersport, PA 16915. Thank you.
