January 12, 2023, 7pm at the Borough Building, will be the first of four regularly scheduled meetings of the Port Allegany Economic and Community Development Group.

For the four 2023 meetings, we hope to arrange for speakers from our most important economic sectors that drive our local economy. 

At this meeting the invited speaker will be a representative from Postlewait Logging Company which is located on RT 155 South. Their story is relevant and timely to the success of area businesses.

Also, we will have a report from the Borough about their efforts to secure grant money to upgrade the electrical service at the Gazebo and around the Town Square to support all activities held there.

There will be other important discussions if they can be offered in the one-hour meeting.

The public is always invited.
