On June 19 at 10:36 pm. Bradford City Fire Dept was dispatched 152 Summer St. for a working house fire. Bradford Twp. is on standby. This has been upgraded to a second alarm fire with flames showing through the roof a second building is at risk. Bradford Twp. has been dispatched Derrick City has been placed on standby. Update 154 Summer St. has been given an evacuation order
Artisan Center Schedules Several Classes
The Potter County Artisan Center in Coudersport is planning several classes over the next few weeks.
Basket weaver, Catherine Snyder, will teach students to make a Handy Tote with Shaker Tape Straps on Saturday, June 24, from 9:00am-4:00pm. Class is $45 and includes all materials in a wide range of colors.
Acrylic Painter, Theresa Welsh, is teaching a Paint-n-Sip class on 6/28 from 6:00-8:00pm. Class is $20 and includes all materials. Students are welcome to bring their own snack and beverage.
Watercolorist, Laurie Angood, will teach a “Teen Artisan Class” from 3:00-4:30 pm on 6/29. The class is for students in 7-12 grades. Cost is $20 and includes all materials.
Laurie Angood is also offering “Young Artisans” class on July 6 from 3:00 to 4:30 pm. Young Artisans classes are for students in grades 2-6. Cost is $20. All materials are provided.

Richard J. “Dick” KEATON, 76, of Galeton, PA

Richard J. “Dick” KEATON, 76, of Galeton, PA, died Sunday, June 18, 2023 in his home. Through his final days, Dick was able to be at home surrounded by his family and loved ones sharing memories and rejoicing and honoring his life. He was able to be with his dogs that he loved dearly.
He was known for the love, compassion, and companionship he had for his animals.
Born October 30, 1946, in Atchison, KS, he was the son of Arthur Leroy and Mary Elizabeth Shaver Keaton. On June 6, 1969, in Galeton, he married the former Janice I. Williams, who survives.
Dick was employed in construction and home improvement. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Galeton.
Surviving besides his wife, Janice, are: three children, Scott (Lisa Kennedy) Keaton, Thomas Lee Casher, and Sherry (Jerry Morral) Casher; seven grandchildren, Derrick, Carson, Jonus, Jacinda, Dana, Morgan, and Macie; several great-grandchildren; two brothers, Carlyle (Pauline) Rucker and Arthur L. “Skeet” (Donna) Keaton, Jr.; nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a son, Richard J. “Dickie” Keaton, Jr., on July 10, 2015.

Honey R. DUNN, of Ulysses, PA

Honey R. DUNN, of Ulysses, PA, reached her heavenly destination on June 6, 2023, in Greenville, NC. Her family was beside her throughout her journey, holding her hands with heavy hearts but comforted knowing she would be with the Lord and reunited with family and friends who went before her.
Honey is survived by her husband, John. They were married for 34 years and loved each other very much. There wasn’t much that Honey did without John by her side. They planned and worked hard for the Dunn and Rounds reunions and united those families in special times with memories made for years to come.
Honey was born in Harrison Valley, PA on July 30, 1933, and as the youngest of Walton and Myra (Thompson) Rounds’ seven children, she was everyone’s ”Honey” from that day on. She graduated from Harrison Valley High School and went on to fulfill her dream of motherhood with what she considered her 5 greatest accomplishments. Honey was a familiar face in the school cafeteria for many years taking great pride in serving food to all the children who passed through the lunch line over the years. At the age of 50, Honey went back to school to get her nursing license and found great satisfaction working with Dr. Davis caring for the community.
Bradford Man Arrested On Felony Warrants

On 06/16/2023 at approximately 2326 hrs, City of Bradford Police while on patrol located the defendant Harley Blue Sellers walking along Congress Street.
Officers knew Sellers to have active Felony arrest warrants both from the McKean County Sheriffs Office and from the Attorney General’s Office in relation to drug crimes.
Officers moved in and arrested Sellers at which time he threw Methamphetamine onto the ground. The drugs were seized into evidence.
Sellers was remanded to McKean County Jail on the bench warrants and also arraigned by Magistrate Engman on the new possession charges. Bail was set at $25,000. Preliminary hearings are set in the matter.

Allan V. Krotzer, 91, of Liberty, PA

Allan V. Krotzer, 91, of Liberty, PA passed away Sunday, June 18, 2023, at his home in Liberty, PA, surrounded by by family. Born January 31, 1932, in Liberty, he was the son of Verus and Edythe (Snyder) Krotzer.
He was a member of Friedens Lutheran Church, Liberty.
Allan was the husband of the late Catherine Mathews and Mary Jane Horner Neinhueser.
Surviving are his 2 sons Gene of Somerset, Daryl (Susie) of Liberty; 2 daughters Darla of Cogan House, Connie (Randy) Black of Liberty; 2 stepdaughters Natalie (Donald) Hetzel of Wellsboro, Leigh (Ralph) Agnoni of Muncy and a stepson Ira F. Neinhueser Jr. of Ogdensburg. 14 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild; 11 step grandchildren and 5 step great grandchildren; 2 brothers in law and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to his wives, Allan was predeceased by his parents, a daughter Victoria Steppe, a daughter in law Diane Yukalavich Krotzer and his sister Dorothy Broughton.

Patricia S. Jordan, of Warren, PA

Patricia S. Jordan, of Warren, PA, died peacefully with her family at her side, on Sunday, June 18, 2023, at the John and Orpha Blair Hospice Home, Warren, PA.
Patricia was born January 6, 1942, in Warren, PA. She was the daughter of Harry and Helen Huber Samuelson. She was a lifelong Warren area resident. Patricia was a 1959 graduate of Warren High School. She was employed for 26 years with Blair Corporation in their customer service department. She was always a woman of great faith.
She is survived by her granddaughter – Ariel Mickle and 1 Sister – Constance Haines, both of Warren, PA., 1 Brother – Gerald Samuelson and wife, Sandy of Florida.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Douglas Mickle in 1996, 2nd husband, Robert Jordan, her son, Bradley Mickle.
A private funeral service will be conducted at the convenience of the family.
