Closures: The library will be closed for the holiday on Friday, July 4th. Regular hours will resume on Saturday, July 5th.
Yard Sale & Book Sale: The library will be holding a yard sale and book sale on Friday, June 27th, from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm and on Saturday, June 28th, from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm.
Town-Wide Yard Sale: The library is organizing a town-wide yard sale on Friday, June 27th, and Saturday, June 28th! If you would like to be added to the map, please call board member Connie Serkleski at 814-698-2249. A list of sales will be available at the library by Wednesday, June 25th.
Summer Reading Programs: Our Summer Reading Programs are fast approaching! This year, we have a program for 4 different age groups. Programs will be held for Pre-school (0-5), Elementary (6-11), Tweens/Teens (12-17), and Adults (18+) during the month of July. Watch our Facebook and website for more details and registration!
Bloomsburg Children’s Museum: Magnetic Slime: The Bloomsburg Children’s Museum is back at the library this month! Join us on Saturday, June 14th, at 2:00 pm to investigate polymer science by creating magnetic slime! This program is for ages 5-17. Limited seating is available. Mushroom Cultivation: Join us at the library on Tuesday, June 17th, at 5:00 pm for for an indoor mushroom cultivation class! Mycology Educator Sam Warren will present cultivation methods that are affordable and easy to replicate at home! Limited seating is available. Please call or stop in to sign up! 814-697-6691.
Kids Art Class: Join us at the library on Saturday, June 21st at 10:00 am for a kids acrylic painting class! This program is for ages 6-11. All supplies provided. Limited seating is available. Please call or stop in to sign up! 814-697-6691
4H Program – Make & Take Button Art: The Penn State Extension will be at the library on Tuesday, June 24th, at 5:30 pm for a Make & Take craft night where attendees will be making buttons! This program is for ages 5-17. Registration is required and is done through the Potter County Extension Office by calling 814-274-8540 or by emailing sqg5901@psu.edu.
Teens’ Night: Please join us on Tuesday, June 10th at 5:30 pm to socialize and play games! Bring your favorite board games, card games, and your friends. This program is for ages 12-18.
Homeschool Hangout: *We are taking a break for June and July and will meet again on August 20th.* On the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month, we will have a Homeschool Hangout starting at 1:00 pm. Our goal for this program is to give homeschool families in the area a chance to get together to see what other families are learning, incorporate the library into some of those lessons, and have fun.
Daycare Story Hour: *There will be no story hour on Friday, June 27th.* The library will have a story hour on Friday mornings starting at 10:00 am for any children aged 3-5. Please call or stop in at the library with any questions! 814-697-6691.
The Book Discussion Group meets at the library on the 2nd Thursday of each month at 10:30 am. The date for this month is June 12th. All are invited to participate. Books are provided by the Potter-Tioga Library System.
Stitch Together: Do you enjoy knitting, crocheting, needlework, and chatting while you work? (Or chatting and not getting much of your project done?) Join us at the library on Thursdays and Saturdays starting at 1:30 pm. The dates for this month are Thursday, June 5th & 19th.

Website: You can search the card catalog by visiting our website at ovmlibrary.org. You can also log into your account and renew the books you have out or put a book on reserve.
Board of Directors Meeting: The monthly board meetings are held on the fourth Wednesday of each month at 1:00 pm. The date for this month is Wednesday, June 25th at 1:00 pm. The public is encouraged to attend.
