Mary Ann Roney, 72, of Bradford, passed away on Thursday, October 30, 2025 at the Bradford Ecumenical Home.

She was born on July 10, 1953 in Bradford; a daughter of the late Charles and Palma Verolini Roney.

She was a 1972 graduate of the former Bradford Central Christian High School.  She also attended the Jamestown Business College.

She was employed by the former National City Bank, Bradford from 1973 until 2003.  In 2004 she started working for CNB Bank where she was the Personal Loan Officer until she retired in 2015 at the age of 62.

She was a member of the St. Bernard Catholic Church where she was a former Lector and she was a volunteer with the McKean County Special Olympics, CASA of McKean County, the Friendship Table and Hospice.  She was a former volunteer for the Big Brother Big Sister program and the Bradford Area United Way.

She is survived by one brother, David (Marilee) Roney of Ligonier; one sister, Susan (Jim) Braid of Wilmington, DE; one nephew, Jimmy Braid of Wilmington; godchildren, Nicole LaBella, Andrea Spindler and Shawn Spindler and her dearest friend, Betty Spindler.

The family will receive friends on Friday, November 7, 2025 from 10:00 until 11:00 AM in the St. Bernard Catholic Church with a Mass of Christian Burial to immediately follow at 11:00 in the church with the Rev. Edward Walk, senior associate pastor, as celebrant.

Entombment will be in the St. Bernard Mausoleum with her parents.

In lieu of flowers the family has asked for memorial contributions in her memory to be made to the McKean County Special Olympics, P.O. Box 101, Bradford, PA  16701 or CASA of McKean County, 500 W. Main St., Smethport, PA  16749.
