Christopher John Hetrick, 46, of Ridgway, PA, passed away on Sunday, February 16, 2025.
Chris was born on December 31, 1978 in St. Marys, PA.
On October 28, 2015, Chris married the love of his life, Tammy Mosier, who remains to cherish his memory. He was a devoted husband, a beloved son, a caring brother, and a dear friend to many.
Chris is survived by his loving parents, John and Rose Angeletti Gabor of Kersey, PA; his father-in-law, Thomas Mosier of St. Marys; and his sister, Valerie Hetrick of Harleysville, PA.
He was also deeply loved by his sister-in-law, Jeanette Ford (Shane Nelson), and his brother-in-law, Tom Mosier; his grandmothers, Vera Hetrick and Mary Ann Wickett of Weedville. Also mourning his passing is many aunts, uncles, his niece, nephews, and cousins who held a special place in his heart.
Chris was preceded in death by his grandfathers, David Hetrick and Raymond Angeletti, as well as his mother-in-law, Julia Mosier, whom he adored.
Chris was a graduate of St. Marys Area High School, class of 1997, and then served in the US Coast Guard. Chris worked for several years at Al’s Machine Shop in Kersey before dedicating the past 14 years to Keystone Powdered Metal in St. Marys. He was a hardworking and dedicated employee.
More than anything, Chris loved being with his family. He was a loving and devoted husband to Tammy and loved their two cherished cats. Chris found purpose in caring for Tammy as she navigated life with Cystic Fibrosis. He was not only her devoted husband but also her steadfast caregiver, always ensuring she felt loved, supported, and safe.

Viewing and Funeral Services are being held privately with the family.
Burial will follow in St. Boniface Cemetery.
