CAUSER ANNOUNCES BID FOR RNC DELEGATE
A local resident has announced his intention to seek the position of Delegate to the Republican National Convention. Matthew Causer, of Turtlepoint in McKean County, has announced his candidacy for one of three spots to represent Pennsylvania’s 15th Congressional District at the RNC in July.
If elected, Causer has pledged to support the candidate chosen by the Republican voters in the upcoming April Primary.
“After four years of high inflation, rising crime, and a disastrous foreign policy under President Biden, it is time to turn the page and elect Republican leadership to every level of government that can get America back on track,” said Causer.
The Republican National Convention is an event held every four years to formally nominate a candidate for President and Vice President, and adopt a platform for the party. This year the convention will be held in Milwaukee, WI.
The Pennsylvania Primary Election will be held on April 23. To find your polling place, visit the PA Department of State website at www.vote.pa.gov.
