Cuba Police arrested 3 juveniles for vandalism

On June 5th, 2023 at approximately 5:34pm, Cuba Police arrested 3 juveniles of Cuba. These juveniles were arrested on charges of criminal mischief 3rd (Felony). These juveniles were processed, and released on juvenile appearance tickets to appear at the Allegany County Department of Social Services at a later date. This case stems from a complaint of alleged vandalism done at Chaimberlain Park.

Wellsville Police arrested Amanda L. Conklin, age 35, of Wellsville, charging her with Endangering the Welfare of a Child. The charge stems from an incident that took place on East State Street in May of 2023. Conklin was processed, issued an appearance ticket and released. Conklin is due to appear in Wellsville Village Court on June 20th at 4:30 pm
Emporium Woman Died in Head-On Collision in Wellsville

On June 2, 2023, at 6:01 P.M., Troopers out of SP Amity responded to a two-vehicle collision on State Route 417 in the town of Wellsville. Investigation determined that a 2015 Nissan traveling west bound on State Route 417, operated by Joeie A. Greenman, 17, of Alma, NY, crossed the center line. and struck a 2013 Ford head-on.
The operator of the Ford, Courtney M. Clark, 32, of Emporium, PA was pronounced deceased at the scene. Greenman was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital via Mercy Flight with serious injuries.
The Collision Reconstruction Unit and the Bureau of Criminal Investigation assisted in this investigation.
This is still an ongoing investigation.
