Lewis Run Woman Arrested For Harassment In Lafayette Twp.

(PORT ALLEGANY, Pennsylvania): District Attorney Stephanie Vettenburg-Shaffer reports that a criminal complaint has been filed against Denise Ann Evens, 45, of Port Allegany alleging sexual conduct with a student.
Officer Adam Dickerson of the Port Allegany Police Department filed the charges and obtained an arrest warrant for Evens following an investigation in which Evens was alleged to have had sexual intercourse and oral sex with a minor who is a student at a school in which she was a volunteer.
Evens is charged with 2 counts of Institutional Sexual Assault and 2 counts of Corruption of Minors. Evens was arraigned by on-call magisterial district judge Dominic Cercone who set Evens’ bail at $75,000 percentage bond and set bail conditions that included no contact with minor children.
She was scheduled to appear in central court.

On October 2nd, 2023 at approximately 7:04 PM, following a report of a female allegedly threatening to stab another person, Cuba Police arrested Diane Casciani (40) of Cuba.
Casciani was arrested on charges of menacing 2nd with a weapon (Misdemeanor), endangering the welfare of a child (Misdemeanor) and reckless endangerment 1st (Felony).
Casciani was processed and placed in front of a Cuba Town Judge and released to appear at a later date. Casciani is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
Wellsville Police arrested Christopher D. Jackson, age 44, of Friendship, charging him with Menacing 2nd (Class A Misdemeanor) and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd (Class D Felony). The charges stem from an incident that took place on South Brooklyn Avenue. Jackson was processed and arraigned before Wellsville Village Justice Thompson. Jackson was remanded to the Allegany County Jail without bail. Jackson is due back in Wellsville Village Court on October 3rd at 4:30 pm.
Wellsville Police arrested Skylar B. Williams, age 32 of Genesee, PA, charging her with DWI (Unclassified Misdemeanor), DWI w/BAC of .08% or more (Unclassified Misdemeanor), Aggravated DWI w/BAC of .18% or more (Unclassified Misdemeanor) and Consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle (Infraction). The charges stem from an incident that took place on South Main Street. Williams was processed, issued appearance tickets and released to a third party. Williams is due to appear in Wellsville Village Court on October 17th at 4:30 pm.

PRESS RELEASE
On September 28, 2023, at 2:43 P.M., Troopers out of SP Amity responded to a one-vehicle collision at the intersection of County Route 22 and State Route 417 in the town of Andover. Investigation determined that a 2003 International was traveling northbound on County Route 22 and crossed over the intersection of State Route 417 at a high rate of speed. The International struck the guide rail and overturned causing the operator, Michael D. Potter, 41, of Addison, NY to be ejected. Potter was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The operator was not wearing a seat belt.
NYSP Collision Reconstruction and the Bureau of Criminal Investigation assisted in this investigation.
