Wellsville Police arrested Robert N. Young, age 34, of Andover charging him with a Probation Violation. Young was processed and arraigned before Wellsville Village Justice Thompson. Young was committed to the Allegany County Jail on no bail. Young is due back in Wellsville Village Court on January 16th at 4:30 pm.
Duke Center Man Convicted of Rape of a Child
(MCKEAN COUNTY, Pennsylvania; December 5, 2023): District Attorney Stephanie Vettenburg-Shaffer reports that, following a two-day jury trial at the McKean County Courthouse, Sebastian Vancamp, of Duke Center, was convicted of sex crimes against a female when she was age 11 and 12.
The testimony included that, between December, 2019 and December, 2021, Vancamp would meet the juvenile victim at various places in Duke Center where he would engage in sexual intercourse with her. The crimes were discovered after the juvenile told school personnel who reported the crimes to Childline.
Trooper Eric Thompson of the Pennsylvania State Police received the report from Childline and investigated that case.
Vancamp was convicted of 2 counts Rape of Child (Felony 1); 2 Counts Statutory Sexual Assault (Felony 2); Corruption of Minors (Felony 3); Indecent Assault (Felony 3); and 4 counts Indecent Assault (Misdemeanor). The jury found him not guilty of additional counts of Involuntary Deviate Sexual Intercourse. The jury also found that Vancamp’s action were a course of conduct.

BLOSSBURG, PA – (Update) Monday, December 4, 2023, Pennsylvania State Police have announced that all four suspects have been identified, arrested, and have been charged in relationship to the armed robbery at the Kwik Fill gas station in Blossburg on Friday evening. Police, however, have not released the names of the suspects presently.

Multiple police units responded to Blossburg’s Main Street after an armed robbery occurred Friday evening, December 1, 2023. The robbery occurred around 9:10 PM at the Kwik Fill gas station located at 210 Main Street in Blossburg, PA.
Pennsylvania State Police confirmed that they responded to a reported robbery that was in progress at the Kwik Fill gas station in downtown Blossburg, around 9:17 AM.
A B.O.L.O. (Be On the Look Out) on the suspects was issued by Pennsylvania State Police at 9:54 PM.
According to police, four individuals had entered the Kwik Fill station with weapons and proceeded to steal approximately $3,500 in currency from the business. (FNN was told that one worker’s wallet was also stolen, however, police did not confirm that information). After collecting the money the men then exited the business through the back door and fled in a southern direction on Morris Street.
Two of the individuals were dressed entirely in black with black facemasks and gloves. One of them wore blue jeans, a black sweatshirt, a bandana, and a green ball cap, while the other wore work pants, a blue sweatshirt, a blue mask, and a black hat.

Wellsville Police arrested Donald G. Williams Jr, age 35 of Wellsville, charging him with Attempted Sexual Abuse 1st (Class D Felony), Forcible Touching (Class A Misdemeanor), Endangering the Welfare of a Child (Class A Misdemeanor), Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4th (Class A Misdemeanor) and Harassment 2nd (Violation).
The charges stem from an incident that took place on East Dyke Street. Williams was processed and arraigned before Wellsville Village Justice Thompson. Williams was committed to the Allegany County Jail on $2,500.00 cash bail or $5,000.00 property bond or $10,000.00 partially secured bond. Williams is due back in Wellsville Village Court on December 5th at 4:30 pm.
Juvenile Arrested After Domestic in Cuba

On Decemebr 3rd , 2023 at approximately 10:49AM, following a domestic dispute, Cuba Police arrested a juvenile of Cuba, NY. This juvenile was arrested on charges of criminal mischief 4th (Misdemeanor), menacing 3rd (Misdemeanor), criminal obstruction of breathing (Misdemeanor), obstructing governmental administration (Misdemeanor) and resisting arrest (Misdemeanor). This juvenile was issued citations to the Allegany County Family Court and released to appear at a later date. This juvenile is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

There was a vehicle pursuit that ended in the Village of Little Valley near the Pat Magee Trail this morning, December 4, 2023.
Richard D. Brady, the driver of the vehicle, was wanted by New York State Parole. Mr. Brady was apprehended after fleeing from the vehicle and turned over to New York State Parole.
At this time the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office is not looking for anyone else and there are no threats to the Little Valley community.

Dept 5,6,25,26, Wellsboro medics dispatched for a reported motor vehicle accident one vehicle versus a deer. Rescue 6-8 and Chief 6-30 responded and got on the scene and gave a report and established command. Crew went to work to assess for injuries. Command recalled dept 5. Crews found one vehicle, one patient with minor injuries. Sabinsville ambulance got on scene and transported the patient. Fire crews remained on scene to direct traffic until psp and whites rollback got on scene. All units went back into service at 21:54.
