Thomas E. Mitchell, Jr., 83, of 103 Thunder Road, St. Marys, passed away Monday, April 14, 2025, at Penn Highlands DuBois, after a brief illness.

Kazuko “Kay” Wells, 93, of 16 Lincolndale Rd, passed away Monday, April 14, 2025, at the Bradford Ecumenical Home.
Born March 3, 1932, in Naha, Okinawa. She was a daughter of the late Kenkei Taba and Makato (Nagamine) Taba.
She worked for JC Penny’s Department Store and retired from housekeeping at Bradford Regional Medical Center.
Kay enjoyed crocheting, cooking her famous sukiyaki, and all family gatherings.

Marjorie J. “Marge” Wedge, 87, of 905 North Main St Limestone, NY, passed away Monday, April 14, 2025, at her residence.
Born May 1, 1937, in Bradford, she was a daughter of the late Owen V. and Winifred (Sherman) Hannon Sr.
On October, 10, 1961, in Olean, NY, she married William J. Wedge who preceded her in death on August 28, 1997.
She attended St. Bernard School and obtained her GED in 1980, the same year as her son Bill.
Marge was a homemaker and formerly volunteered for the Boy Scouts, she also was a chaperone for the Limestone children traveling to the Olean YMCA to Swim, and to skate.
Surviving are two daughters, Marge Updegrove, and Mary Ann (Donna) Schelb, five sons, Chuck (Patricia) Updegrove, Scott Updegrove, Joe (Mary) Wedge, Bill (Terri) Wedge, and David Wedge, 16 grandchildren and many great grandchildren, one sister, Jane Waterson, and several nieces and nephews.
Marge was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son John Wedge, and one brother Owen V. Hannon Jr.
Friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Marge’s Life on April, Saturday 26, 2025, from 1:00 to 3:00 pm in the Limestone Fireman’s Community Center. Burial will be in McKean Memorial Park Cemetery.

James R. “Baggy” Edwards, Jr., 81, of Shinglehouse, formerly of Beaver Falls, PA, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, April 14, 2025, in Bradford Regional Medical Center, Bradford.
Born on Wednesday, November 17, 1943 in New Brighton, he was a son of James R. Sr. and Margaret V. Stoltz Edwards.
Jim attended Beaver Falls High School. He was employed for Babcock and Wilcox Steel Mill in Ambridge, retiring after 20 years of service.

Robert Joseph Luchini, of Kersey, Pennsylvania, passed away at home and with his family by his side on April 11, 2025, at the age of 71.
Born on October 2, 1953, in Fort Hood, Texas, Robert was the son of the late Joseph and Elizabeth (Zernell) Luchini.
On March 13, 1976, he married Brenda Lavella at St. Boniface Church. Together, they shared a devoted and loving marriage of 49 years.

Kenneth J. Schaming, 96, of 3 Butternut Drive, Bradford, passed away, at home Sunday, April 13, 2025, surrounded by his children.
Born on September 21, 1928, in Bradford, he was a son of the late Bernard B. and Susan M. (Bauer) Schaming Sr. He was a 1946 graduate of Bradford Area High School.
On June 17, 1950, in St. Bernard Church, he married Patricia (Carlson) Schaming, who preceded him in death on November 20, 2022.

He was born on July 11, 1946 in Wellsboro, PA a son of the late John and Edith (Jelliff) Wheeler and served in the Army National Guard. Dick was employed for over 30 years by the Borough of Wellsboro as a police officer.

Norman H. Steis, 81, of Ridgway, passed away on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at the Bradford Ecumenical Home.
He was born on January 12, 1944, in Ridgway, a son of the late Alfred and Alice Johnson Steis.
Norm retired from the Johnsonburg Paper Mill after many years of service. In his free time, he enjoyed working on cars and going to races. Norm was an avid sports fan, following the Pirates, Steelers, and Nascar. A devoted enthusiast of Lionel trains, he found joy in collecting and sharing his treasured models with family and friends.

Rosa L. Martin, 71, of Coudersport, passed away Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at UPMC West Shore, Mechanicsburg. She was born on June 23, 1953, in Coudersport, the daughter of the late Norman K. and Filomena R. (Lagonia) Leete. Rosa married Michael N. Martin on September 2, 1978, and celebrated 35 years of marriage until his passing on March 10, 2014.
A memorial mass at St. Eulalia Catholic Church, 6 Maple St., Coudersport, will be held Saturday, May 10, 2025 at 11:00 am with a visitation from 10-11 am at the church. The family suggest memorial contributions in Rosa’s name be made to the Coudersport Public Library, 502 Park Ave., Coudersport, PA 16915.

She was born January 16, 1936, in St. Marys, a daughter to the late Marlin and Vada Krise Mann. On May 7, 1955 in Holy Rosary Church, Johnsonburg, she married Gary S. Dauber. He preceded her in death on April 7, 2007.

Cathy Jo was a 1982 graduate of Cameron County High School. For over 30 years, she was a dedicated employee at GKN in Emporium, where she built lasting friendships.

Born in Altoona, on March 30, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Meryl and Dorothy (Barkley) Stiver. Sally was a woman of deep faith whose life was marked by kindness, devotion, and a steadfast love for her family.
On October 12, 1986, in Emporium, PA, she married the love of her life, the late Robert “Bob” Garman. Together, they built a life rooted in love, laughter, and shared values.

She was born on September 23, 1942, in Ridgway, the daughter of the late Gerald and J. Nadine Bullers Wilson.
On July 16, 1982, she married the late Raymond A. Fannin, who preceded in death on November 24, 2021.

Robert B. Swanson Jr., 66, of Jo Jo Road, passed away Wednesday (April 2) in UPMC-Shadyside. Born July 8, 1958 in Warren, he is the son of the late Robert and Gayle (Frontera) Swanson Sr. He married Selene VanHorn, who survives.
Bob drove truck for several years as well as working in various other jobs. He was in the Air Force and he loved playing his guitar and performing. He played in two different church bands as well as another band called Dark Rhythm. He was a member of the Living Waters Free Methodist Church.
