Craig W. Redington, 70, of 120 Williams Street, Bradford, passed away Friday, April 28, 2023, with his family and friends by his side at Bradford Manor.
Born April 11, 1953, in Bradford he was a son of the late William O. Redington and Charlyne (Freeman) Redington-Coburn. He was a 1971 graduate of Bradford High School.
On September 7, 1985 in the First Presbyterian Church he married Sue (Holsinger) Redington, who survives.
Throughout his working career, Craig was employed at Taylor Rolly Doors, Willow Dale Cemetery, McCourt Label and P V Paving. Craig also worked at Dresser Manufacturing, retiring after 35 years of service.
He was a member of the Bradford Union Masonic Lodge # 749 F&AM, the Coudersport Consistory, Orak Grotto, Trinity Commandery #58, Occident Council #41, Bradford Chapter #260.
Craig enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing, target shooting. He had a great love for the outdoors. Many evenings he enjoyed a night on the front porch and a good cigar with his friends and neighbors. He was an avid reader of Civil War history.
Surviving is his wife Sue of 37 years, one sister-in-law Rhonda (Bruce) Gray, and one niece, Samantha Gray, all of Bradford.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister Jeanine L. Redington, and stepfather Clifford Coburn.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday May 2, 2023, from 5 pm to 7pm in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc. 33 South Ave., where funeral services will be held at 11 am on Wednesday with Rev. Rob Klouw, Pastor of the First Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial will be in Willow Dale Cemetery.
At 7:00 pm Tuesday members of the Masonic Lodge #749 F&AM will conduct a Masonic service.

Ronald L. Bruni, 90, of Kersey, passed away peacefully on April 28, 2023 with his family by his side following a brief illness.
He was born March 24, 1933, in Ridgway, son of the late Bruno and Lillian Teston Bruni of Byrndale. He was a lifelong resident of the area and graduated from Jay Township High School in 1951. In 1953 he was drafted to the United States Army and served two years during the Korean War. He was awarded several medals and commendations and rose to the rank of Sergeant First Class.
On July 16, 1955 at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church, he married the late Barbara J. Hanes, who preceded him in death on July 29, 2011. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Gerald Bruni and a sister, Sharleen Guido both of Byrndale.
Ron is survived by two children, John Bruni of Treasure Lake and Cheryl (Douglas) McAlee of Kersey ; three grandchildren: Christian McAlee of Ridgway, Austin McAlee of Conway, SC, and Jillian Bruni-Crytser of Treasure Lake; and his sister, Janet Pretti of Penfield.
Ron was a lifelong employee of Airco Speer/Carbon where he worked for 37 years. He concluded his employment as the General Manager of Building 600. He was a member of the American Legion and his hobbies included sports and outdoor activities. He was a longtime “true-blue” Dodger fan. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and will be remembered for his garden which he tended for over 25 years. Its bounty was not only enjoyed by his family but many friends and neighbors shared in its abundance.
Private funeral services for immediate and extended family will be held at the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home with the Rev. Jeffery Noble officiating. Full military honors will be accorded by the Fox Township Burial Detail. Burial will follow in the St. Joseph Cemetery in Force.
There will be no visitation.

Robert L. Murphy, age 89, of Bendigo Road, Johnsonburg, PA, died April 16, 2023 at Elk Haven Nursing Home after a short illness. A son of the late Edward and Vera (Wills) Murphy, he was born on July 13, 1933 in Johnsonburg, PA. On December 12, 1952 he married M. Patricia (McAlee), who preceded him in death on October 23, 2022.
Along with his parents and his wife, Robert was predeceased by: a son, William; a granddaughter, Amy Joe Frost; two brothers, Neylon and Jack; and three sisters, Colleen, Rosemary and Joyce.
Robert leaves behind: a son Robert (Claire) Murphy of Clarksville, TN, two daughters Christine Elwell of Wellsboro, PA and Colleen (Jack) Collson of Horseheads, NY; ten grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Robert graduated from Johnsonburg Area Schools and received an Associate Degree in Electrical from Bliss Electrical School in Washington, DC. He worked as an Electrician all his life and is the last surviving member of “Edward Murphy and Sons Electrical Contractors”. He was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church and enjoyed hunting and working on cars. He was born and raised in Johnsonburg, lived several years in Vestal, NY and several years in Westfield, PA and came back to Johnsonburg in 1988.
As per Robert’s wishes, there will be no visitation and funeral services will be private.

Sharon L. (Disque) Penfield, age 70, of Second Avenue, Johnsonburg, PA died April 23, 2023 at her daughter’s home in Johnsonburg. A daughter of the late Richard “Tich” and Shirley (Polinski) Disque, she was born on July 5, 1952 in Kane, PA.
Sharon is survived by: three children, Daniel (Lisa) Lechien of Johnsonburg, Jesse Lechien of Wilcox and Carrie (Pete Konen) Cherry of Johnsonburg; ten grandchildren; one great-grandchild; a brother, Rich (Roberta) Disque of Wilcox; four sisters, Sherry Disque of Johnsonburg, Jean (Kerry) Keneske of Johnsonburg, Dawn Sandy of Wilcox and Millie (Bau) Yasurek of Wilcox; and two brothers-in-law, Dave Robuck of Johnsonburg and Reno Galdini of Wilcox.
Besides her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by: a daughter, Becky Tomaski; and two sisters, Shelly Robuck and Dinny Galdini.
Sharon lived all her life in Wilcox and Johnsonburg. She graduated Johnsonburg Schools in 1970. She worked as a Care Nurse with Elk Haven Nursing Home before retiring after thirty plus years of service. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her family.

Patricia L. Osani, 91, of Max Roys Dr., Port Allegany, PA passed away Thursday (April 27, 2023) in the Pavilion at Bradford Regional Medical Center.
Born March 18, 1932, in Mansfield, PA, she was a daughter of Chester A. and Maude M. Dewey Feig. On June 2, 1956, in Galeton, PA, she married Charles W. Osani, who died June 23, 1994.
Patricia was a graduate of Fabias High School, Fabias, NY, class of 1950, and Mansfield State University, with a BS in Music Education.
She taught music at Addison School District, Addison, NY, Shinglehouse School District, and with the Port Allegany School District, before retiring.
She was a member of the St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church, Port Allegany, where she was church organist for 35 years, and a member of the Catholic Women’s Club. She was a member of the Port Allegany Women’s Club and former choir member of the Coudersport Consistory. She volunteered playing piano @ Cole Extended Care and Sweden Valley Manor, both of Coudersport. Patricia was an in-home piano teacher for over 35 years & sang and played for many area weddings. She was a gifted musician.
Surviving are two sons, C. Andrew (Sarah) Osani of Aurora, CO, W. Jay (Christine) Osani of Eldred; two daughters, Shari A. (John) Kuzman of Middleton, ID, Nancy L. Osani of Port Allegany, with whom Patricia resided; 7 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Charles, a son, A. James Osani, a great-grandson, Taric Osani, a brother, Robert C. Feig, and three sisters, Ruth Gilmore, H. Yvonne Orvik, and Bette Duclos.
Friends will be received form 4-7 p.m. Monday in the Switzer Funeral Home, Port Allegany. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday (May 2, 2023) in St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church, Port Allegany, with Rev. Joseph Daughterty, as celebrant. Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery, Galeton.

Richard F. Haberberger, 68, of 242 George Street, St. Marys, PA passed away Thursday, April 27, 2023, at Pinecrest Manor, after an illness of the past several months.
He was born July 12, 1954, in Ely, MN, son of the late Francis and Carole Gahr Haberberger. Rick was a lifelong resident of the area and was a graduate of St. Marys Area High School, Class of 1972. He was a carpenter by trade.
On July 5, 2002, in St. Marys, Rick married Jean M. Blessel, who survives.
He is also survived by two daughters: Chiyvonne Lupro (Cory) of St. Marys and Lacy Nichols (Jeremy) of Roanoke, VA; his son, Derrick Blessel of St. Marys; his step-son, Donald Blessel of St. Marys; two grandchildren: Shane Haberberger (Katrina) and Ethan Nichols; two brothers: Paul Haberberger (Linda) and BJ Haberberger (Lisa), both of St. Marys; several nieces and nephews; and by his beloved dog, Rose E. Bell.
Rick loved to hunt and enjoyed shooting trap. He was an avid Notre Dame and New York Yankees fan and was a member of the CMF. Rick was a member of the “Huntin’ Shack” crew and loved hanging out with his hunting buddies.

Allison “Alli” Jeanne Brooks (Armstrong) passed away peacefully in Napa, CA on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at the age of 49.
Alli was born on December 19, 1973 in Rochester, NY to James D. (Judy Molyneaux) Armstrong and Jeanne (Geoff) Robillard.
She graduated from UNC Greensboro with a B.S. in Broadcast Journalism and earned her Masters degree in Political Communications from Emerson University. She was a writer at heart, serving in many public relation and communication positions throughout her career. In 2019, she relocated to Napa Valley, California and became a certified wine educator.
In 2012, Allison married David E. Brooks in Coudersport, PA, together enjoyed 18 years of love and adoration before her passing. They had several beloved pets over the years but she had a special love for her cats. Above all, Alli was unquestionably devoted to her family and friends. She loved the outdoors whether it was in her garden or at a festival.
Her most treasured times was when she was able to work alongside her husband professionally back in Pennsylvania and again in California.
In addition to her husband and parents, Alli is survived by her brother Andy (Elizabeth) Armstrong, sisters Rene (Scott) Cook and Regina (Jeff) Raudabaugh. She has several aunts and uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews whom she all loved dearly.
There will be a celebration of life planned later in the year.

Charlotte L. Burrous, 86, a longtime resident of Galeton, passed away with her loving daughter by her side on Thursday, April 27, 2023, after a long illness.
Born on Saturday, August 1, 1936 in West Pike, she was a daughter of Grant S. and Mae Shaffer Hall. She was married to Richard Burrous who was the father of her children.
Charlotte attended school in Galeton. She was employed at the former Galeton Products and was also employed at several nursing homes. Her last occupation was a short order cook, working in various local restaurants. One of her greatest accomplishments was raising five children.
In her childhood, Charlotte was a member of the West Pike Baptist Church. While living in Shinglehouse, she was a member of the First Baptist Church. Charlotte loved to read, cook, and being social. In her younger years she loved to garden.
Left to mourn her are two sons, Richard G. (Felecia) Burrous of the State of Washington and Kenneth J. (Tracy) Burrous of North Carolina; a daughter, Emmamae (Richard) Hillyard of Ulysses; sixteen grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She is being greeted in Heaven by the Lord; her parents; a daughter, Donna M. Burrous; a son, Robert J. Burrous; and several brothers and sisters.
In keeping with Charlotte’s wishes there will be no public visitation or funeral services. Burial will be in Parker Hill Cemetery.

Donald K. Kessler, of 215 Adams St., Olean, NY passed away Tuesday (April 25, 2023) at his daughter’s home, after a brief illness.
Born Dec. 13, 1937, in Shinglehouse, Pa., he was the son of the late Joseph L. and Elsie I. Blaisdell Kessler. He married Anne Lemmer McDonald, who predeceased him in 2012.
Donald was a veteran of the U.S. Army from 1958-1960. He worked for Dresser-Rand in Olean and was a longtime member of the St. Stephen’s Club, Birch Run Golf Club and the Olean YMCA.
He is survived by two children, Lisa (Toby) Miller of Ceres, Pa. and David Kessler of West Clarksville; eight grandchildren, Kenneth (Kari) Miller of Ceres, Emily (Nick) Kinney of Shinglehouse, Allison Miller of Ceres, Damean Kessler, Alec Kessler and Caleb Kessler all of West Clarksville, and Joshua Kessler and Kaitlyn Kessler, both of Port Allegany, Pa.; one sister, Lucille Kimicata; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his wife, Donald was predeceased by two sisters, Shirley Mulkin and Linda Ayers.

Wilma J. “Mike” Haupt, 89, of Canfield Hollow, Eldred, PA passed away on Monday (April 24, 2023) at Lakeview Senior Center.
Born on Oct. 31, 1933, she was the daughter of John and Fannie Childs Powell. On Feb. 23, 1952, in Olean, N.Y., she married Leonald “Lee” Haupt Sr., who preceded her in death on Nov. 10, 1995
Wilma attended Portville, N.Y., schools and was raised in Obi, N.Y., prior to moving to Eldred after she got married. She attended the Coryville Church of Faith and enjoyed crocheting and gardening.
Surviving is two sons, Leonald “Bub” (Susan) Haupt Jr. of Winterhaven, Fla., Gary (Michael Ewing) Haupt of Navarre, Fla.; three daughters, Marlene McClain of Portville, Pamela Moyer Laroche of Ocean View, Del., Lisa Taylor of Eldred; nine grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son-in-law Roland Laroche, three brothers and two sisters.
Visitation will be held on Friday (April 28, 2023) at the Coryville Church of Faith from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m. at which time funeral services will be held with Pastor Karmon Wood officiating. Burial will be in Lamphier Cemetery.

Gary G. Ostrander, 85, of Bradford, PA passed away on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at the Olean General Hospital, Olean, NY.
He was born on January 23, 1938 in Olean, the son of the late Ralph and Lucille Schenfield Ostrander.
He attended schools in Erie.
On May 30, 1964 in Bradford; he married Mary Ellen Bennett who preceded him in death on July 24, 2009.
Gary worked many years in the Bradford area in the oil industry and as a roofing contractor.
He was a member of the American Legion Post 108 and the Lt. John C. Roche Post 212 VFW as well as a former member of the IAS Club. Gary loved spending time outdoors, fishing and swimming. He also loved being around his friends and family. Those that knew Gary knew he also enjoyed tinkering with his collection of lawnmowers.
He is survived by three daughters, Pamela (Thomas) Morey of Virginia Beach, VA, Joy (Kenneth) Arble of Bradford and Mary Lou Lee of Bradford; one son, Randy (Laurie) Ostrander of Bradford; ten grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents and wife he was also preceded in death by his stepfather, Ellis Beals.
A private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date.

Linda J. Jacobson, 75, of Warren, PA., died Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at West Penn Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA., after a brief illness.
Linda was born July 8, 1947, in Jamestown, N.Y. She was the daughter of D. Melvin “Jake” and Carolyn Ruden Jacobson. Linda was a 1965 graduate of Warren High School and earned her bachelor’s degree in education at Edinboro University. She was employed with Warren County School District as a 5th grade schoolteacher at North Warren Elementary School. In 1983, she moved to West Palm Beach, Florida area, where she was employed with the Windbrook Elementary School, as a 3rd and 4th grade schoolteacher, retiring in 2016. While in West Palm Beach, Linda enjoyed local talent, concerts, plays and attending orchestra performances. She was a member of the West Palm Beach Elks Ladies Auxiliary. For the past 6 years, she has resided in North Warren, PA. Linda was a member of First Lutheran Church, where she was a member of the church prayer shawl group. She was also a member of the Lakewood Loyal Order of the Moose Ladies Auxiliary. She was an active member with the Warren Players Club as a costume designer and served as their box office chairperson. Linda was very instrumental in the lives of her nieces and nephews, exposing them to their love of the arts.
Linda is survived by her brother, D. Melvin “Skip” Jacobson and his wife, Marianne of N. Warren, PA., his sister, Elaine Crandall of Warren, PA., 4 Nieces – Carolyn Mummert and husband, Chad of Erie, PA., Joy McMonigal of Warren, PA., Kristen Bosko and husband, Michael of Pittsfield, PA., Melissa Feaster and husband, Kenneth of Warren, PA., 2 Nephews – Robert Jacobson of Charlotte, N.C., Matthew Jacobson and wife, Angela of Killingworth, CT, several great nieces and nephews.

Cookeville, TN–Michael D. “Denny” Bender, 80, formerly of Girard, PA, passed away on April 25, 2023.

Jane M. Rupprecht, 98, passed away in her home on Tuesday, April 25, 2023 surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on March 5,1925 in St. Marys, PA, the daughter of the late George and Kathryn Grant Kronenwetter. On August 28, 1948, Jane married Jerome “Whitey” Rupprecht. Jerome’s uncles, Fr. Jerome Rupprecht OSB, Fr. Norbert Rupprecht OSB, and Fr. Melvin Rupprecht OSB offered a concelebrated wedding mass at Sacred Heart Church where they remained lifetime members. Together they shared almost 75 years of love and happiness.
Jane was a lifelong resident of St. Marys and a 1943 graduate of St. Marys Area High School. In the early 1950’s, Jane and Whitey built their home together where they raised their four children. They especially enjoyed spending time on their back porch visiting with family and friends.
Jane devoted her life to her husband and children. She loved being a homemaker and worked part-time at Sears, Roebuck and Company for over 20 years. Jane was a member of the St. Anne’s Society where she served as president for over 25 years. She was also a member of the Alter Society, a cafeteria volunteer, and enjoyed working at the election polls. Jane was an avid shopper, enjoyed playing cards especially cinch and rabbit, and traveled to each of the 50 states as well as Mexico, Canada and Nova Scotia with her husband and friends. She looked forward to yearly camping trips and picnics at Twin Lakes with her grandchildren.
Jane was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She touched the lives of everyone she met. She always thought of little ways to show others that they were important. She followed her mother’s tradition of sending cards to family and friends on special occasions and holidays. Many were touched by her kindness.
Jane is survived by her husband and their children; Susan Schenfield, Mary Kay (Jim) Vollmer, Paul (Rita) Rupprecht and Jill (Tim) Bernett. She was proud of her ten grandchildren; Michael (Kristin) Vollmer, Eric (Taryn) Schenfield, Kati (Andy) Weiland, John (Julianna) Bernett, David Bernett, Stephen (Tia) Vollmer, David (Anna) Rupprecht, Michael Bernett, Andrew (Kendra) Bernett and Dori (Bob) Sekelsky. Jane was also blessed with eight great-grandchildren; Emma Vollmer, Lucas Schenfield, Kennedy Rupprecht, Eli Vollmer, Elias Schenfield, Jack Bernett, Anna Weiland and Grant Vollmer.
She is also survived by a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Shirley and Jim Rupprecht, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
In addition to her parents, Jane was preceded in death by a brother; Joseph Kronenwetter and a sister; Elizabeth “Bette” Boschert.
A Mass of Christian Burial and celebration of life for Jane M. Rupprecht will be celebrated on Friday, April 28, 2023 at 12:00PM at Sacred Heart Church, 337 Center Street, St. Marys, PA 15857 with Fr. Michael Gabler OSB, as celebrant. Burial will follow in the St. Marys Catholic Cemetary.
There will be no visitation.

Thurston C. Roe, age 62 of Knoxville, PA passed away at home on Tuesday, April 25, 2023 with his family by his side.
Born August 15, 1960 in Corning, NY, he was the son of the late Bernard L. and Helen Jean (Totten) Roe, Sr.
Thurston served honorably in the US Navy Seabees for six years and worked for the Right of Way Clearing Inc. for many years. He married Tina (Hurd) and they shared 30 years together.
Thurston was an avid outdoorsman; he loved hunting, fishing, woodworking and looking for arrowheads. He liked to sing, antiques and his heart was full of love for his dogs.
He was a member of the Elkland Moose Lodge, Knoxville Fire Hall, Knoxville VFW and the American Legion.
Thurston is survived by his wife, Tina; his sons, Justin Tucker of Chesapeake, VA and Jason Tucker of San Antonia, TX; sister, Bonnie Roe of Elkland; brothers, Stuart (Mary) Roe of Lawrenceville and Dan (Dawn) Roe of Knoxville; brother in law, Garrett (Denise) Hurd of Louisiana and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Ronald Roe, Sr. and Bernard Roe, Jr.
Family will receive friends at Kenyon Funeral Home, 214 W Main St., Elkland on Friday 2:00 – 4:00 and 6:00 – 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, 1:00 PM. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Middlebury Union Cemetery.

Elwood L. Heffner, age 84, passed away peacefully in his home with his family on April 24, 2023, in Tioga, Pennsylvania after briefly battling cancer.
He was born August 24, 1938, to the late Samuel and Margaret (Deats) Heffner in Lawrenceville, Pennsylvania.
Elwood was a Korean War Veteran in the Army and retired from Ingersoll Rand in Painted Post, NY.
Elwood was met in heaven by his two sons, Eric and Terry, two daughters, Kelly Jo and Cheryl, a brother, Donald Heffner, and sister Sandra Woodard. On August 15, 1958, Elwood married his love, Joan (Graff) Heffner and spent 66 years together.
Elwood is survived by his wife, Joan, his son, Jeff Heffner (Lynne Wagner) of Wellsboro, PA, daughter Nichole (Matthew) Finnerty of Hinsdale, NY, daughter in law Monica Heffner of Troy, PA and adopted daughter Geri (Sissy) Crigger of Tarboro, NC. His grandchildren Nichelle (Ben) Appleby of Elmira, NY, Corrie Heffner of Fort Knox, KY, Lisa (Andrew) Wilkinson of Independence, MO, Ronald (Marion) Heffner of Greentown, PA, Curtis (Heaven) Heffner of Whitneyville, PA, Shauna (Matthew) Wright of Millerton, PA, Cheyanne Heffner of Bradford, PA, and Isabella Heffner of Troy, PA, 15 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is also survived by his sisters, Pauline, Carol, Velma and Stella, and brothers, Robert and Richard.
Elwood loved spending time with his family, camping, fishing, hunting, laughing, joking, and telling all of his grandbabies how much he loved them.
Per Elwood’s wishes, there will be no funeral service but a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Douglas James Sweeney, 68, passed away suddenly at The Good Samaritan hospital in Baltimore, MD on April 19, 2023.
Doug was born on December 29, 1954 in Saint Marys to the late Fred and Mildred Sweeney, the fifth of their nine children. He graduated from Johnsonburg High School in 1973 and then from Penn State University with a degree in Civil Engineering.
Shortly after graduating from college, Doug moved to Baltimore where he worked for Rummel, Klepper and Kahl until his retirement in 2019. Here he was not only able to follow his childhood love of dams and waterways through a lifelong career in civil engineering, but he was also able to achieve his Professional Engineer license in the states of Pennsylvania, Virginia and Maryland.
Throughout high school, Doug played tennis, baseball, and ran cross country. He had a love for golf and was a fan of the Baltimore Ravens and Orioles. He loved claiming bragging rights whenever the Ravens beat the Steelers and was looking forward to the Orioles upcoming season. Doug also enjoyed reading about history and playing board games and cards with his family. He especially enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.
Doug is survived by his siblings Bette and Fritz of Johnsonburg, Vickie Sorg and Mike (Barb) of Saint Marys, Pat (Karen) of Mt. Laurel, NJ, Frank (Gae) of Rockwall, TX, Jude (Michele) of Telford, PA and Jennifer (John) Ross of Shippensburg, PA. He is also survived by 16 nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law Jim Sorg.
A summer memorial service is being planned for Johnsonburg.

Vincie Ann Burgess, 90, of Lewis Run, PA passed away on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at the Bradford Manor.
She was born on July 21, 1932 in Lewis Run, a daughter of the late Anthony and Mildred Castiglione Curcio.
She was a 1950 graduate of the Bradford Senior High School.
On July 17, 1954 in Our Mother of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, she married Richard G. Burgess who preceded her in death on April 8, 2020.
She was formerly employed by Control Chief, Airco Speer and the former Kleiderline Jewelers.
Vincie loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed watching old movies, listening to music, reading and doing crossword puzzles.
She is survived by two daughters, Deborah (Homer) Bouquin of Bradford and Elizabeth Bailey of Lewis Run; three grandchildren, Andrew Bailey of Lewis Run, Nicole Bouquin of Bradford and Zack (Mindy) Bouquin of Bradford; three great grandchildren, Shayla Buchanan of Custer City, Jordan Bailey of Lewis Run and Aiden Yeager of Bradford.
In addition to her parents and husband she was also preceded in death by one sister, Nettie McAndrew.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, May 1, 2023 at Our Mother of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Lewis Run, at 11:00 AM with the Rev. James Gutting, senior associate pastor as celebrant.
Interment and committal services will be in St. Bernard Cemetery.

Delmar D. SLINGERLAND, 89, of Wellsville, NY, died Monday, April 24, 2023 in Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester.
Born December 29, 1933, in Andrews Settlement, he was the son of Harvey A. and Edith Louise Pomeroy Slingerland. A graduate of Genesee High School, he attended Alfred State College for electrical. A US Army Veteran, he served honorably from 1954 – 1956. On April 5, 1958, in Andrews Settlement, he married the former Donna R. Frailey, who survives. He was employed by Air Preheater in Wellsville and was a self-employed electrician. Delmar enjoyed tinkering, gardening, and making small stone and wooden crafts to give to friends and family. He was part of a local coffee club. Delmar enjoyed showing his 1966 Chevy Caprice.
Surviving besides his wife, Donna, are: two daughters, Marcia (Gary) Bachelor of Celoron and Regina (John) Crofut of Troy, PA; two grandchildren, Emily (Tom) Halladay of Wellsville and Micah Whitehouse of Wellsville; one great-grandson, Akiva; two brothers, Lyle R. Slingerland of Wellsville and Elmer C. Slingerland of Genesee; a sister, Vonda Burnside of WA; nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Harvey Alfred Slingerland; and a sister, Donna Niver.
