Are you an agricultural producer or a small business owner? During the Energy Efficiency Programs webinar, learn about various federal and state energy efficiency programs you may qualify for. These programs may include grants, rebates, loans, or tax incentives. Extension Educators will provide guidance on programs such as the Rural Energy for America Program (REAP), grants and rebates offered through the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, tax credits for renewable projects, and utility rebate programs.
The webinar will take place on Thursday, March 21st, at noon. The webinar is free, and pre-registration is required. Register ASAP, as space is limited to 500 participants. Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised that a two-year roadway project resumes along Interstate 180 eastbound and westbound in Montoursville Borough, and Loyalsock, Fairfield, and Muncy townships in Lycoming County.
On Tuesday, March 19, 2024, the Route 2014 (Broad Street) westbound entrance ramp to Interstate 180 westbound will be closed in Montoursville Borough while the contractor installs new light poles, arms, and luminaries. Work will be performed between the hours of 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM, weather permitting.

Clearfield, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that Progress Rail will install new active warning devices at the rail crossings along Route 255 (East DuBois Avenue) in DuBois on Tuesday, March 19. Crews will be working at the crossings located at the intersection of Route 219 and Route 255 and the intersection of Route 255 and Division Street.

(MCKEAN COUNTY, Pennsylvania; March 12, 2024): The Pennsylvania Superior Court has reversed a ruling by a McKean County Judge that had suppressed evidence in a drug case in McKean County. District Attorney Stephanie Vettenburg-Shaffer appealed the initial ruling and argued the case in front of the Superior Court in recent months. By Order dated March 7, 2024, the Superior Court reversed the Judge’s ruling.
Detective Kolin Strawcutter of the McKean County Drug Task Force filed charges against Michael Lissmore in 2022. Charges include Delivery of a Controlled Substance. The defense filed a motion to suppress evidence obtained by use of a recording device, commonly referred to as a “wire.”
