At 12:07 PM on Saturday, Mansfield Fire & EMS have been dispatched for a land rescue of a female fallen from a horse near Spencer Road.

At 10:11 AM on Saturday, Roulette Ambulance has been called to West Branch of Fishing Creek Road for difficulty breathing.

On October 20 at 6:55 pm St. Marys Fire and Ambulance were dispatched for a motor vehicle accident on 812 Washington St. Power lines are down with partial power outage electric company has been notified. The Fire Dept. was pulled away from the scene for smoke in the structure at the Wildwoods Bar & Grill. The power outage caused exhaust fans to turn off ventilation is all that’s needed

At 1:21 PM on Friday, Shinglehouse ambulance has been called to North Union Street for semi-responsive patient.

On October 19 at 5:29 pm Coudersport Fire and Ambulance were dispatched for a carbon monoxide alarm on Crandall St.

At 4:08 PM on Thursday, Shinglehouse Ambulance has been called to Honeoye Street for difficulty breathing.

At 3:50 PM on Thursday, Shinglehouse Fire Dept. has been dispatched to 414 Kenyon Hollow Road in Pleasant Valley Township for wires down blocking the roadway.

At 10:26 AM on Thursday, Coudersport ambulance has been dispatched to Mapleview Lane for a medical call.

At 10:09 AM on Thursday, Coudersport Fire Dept. has been dispatched for an automatic alarm of fire at the Truck-Lite facility.

At 12:56 PM on Wednesday, Eldred Township Fire Dept. & Eldred Ambulance & Port Allegany EMS have been dispatched to Rt. 155 in the area of Newell Creek Road for a vehicle crash over an embankment. A 65 year old female is reported to be injured.

On October 17 at 11:09 pm. Ridgway Fire and Ambulance for a semi vs a vehicle on 154 Rocky Rd. in a parking lot with 4 patients with minor injuries.

On October 17 at 11:06 pm Shinglehouse Ambulance was dispatched to E. Honeoye St. for a person with head pain.

At 10:49 PM on Tuesday, Coudersport Ambulance has been called to Oak Street for a person fallen with a head injury.

***Vehicle Accident with Heavy Entrapment***

This morning at 0741 Hours, the department was dispatched for a Vehicle Accident in the 1200 block of Route 44 North in Hebron Township.

Chief 48-10(T. Ostroski) responded and upon his arrival, located a Single-Vehicle Crash off the roadway into the trees with the occupant heavily trapped and requested Air Medical to the scene.

Engine 48-3 and Rescue 48 responded and upon their arrival immediately placed their HURST Jaws of Lifetools into service, working to free the occupant. Crews continued to work strenuously, flapping the roof, opening up the driver’s side of the vehicle and rolling the dash, while EMS provided medical treatment.

The occupant was removed from the vehicle, marking the extrication complete within 10 minutes. The patient was then packaged and placed in the awaiting ambulance to be transported by ground to UPMC Cole as all aircraft declined to fly due to weather.

The scene was then turned over to PSP Coudersport and PennDOT to control traffic. The department returned to service at 0932 Hours.

On October 16 at 9:06 pm Wellsboro Fire and Ambulance were dispatched to 4541 rt. 287 in Delmar Twp. for a vehicle vs. deer crash with 2 patients confined with a possible rollover

At 3:47 PM on Monday, Shinglehouse ambulance has been called to 2800 block of Rt. 44 South for abdominal pain.

At 3:38 PM on on Monday, Austin Ambulance has been called to Garman Way for a female fall victim from a ladder.

At 12:04 PM on Monday, Ulysses & Coudersport Fire & EMS have been dispatched to 2986 Route 49 West, near the Risser farm, for a box truck rollover with injuries.

At 8:50 AM on Monday, Coudersport Ambulance has been dispatched to Memorial Drive for an unresponsive individual in a vehicle in the parking lot.

On October 15 at 8:57 pm. Coudersport ambulance was dispatched for chest pains on Williams Way Dr.

At 7:29 PM on Sunday, Wellsboro Fire Dept. was dispatched to Tops for smoke in the structure. The building has been evacuated. Elkland has been dispatched for RIT. Notify Wellsboro Electric for an electrical fire inside the market.

At 3:12 PM on Sunday, Coudersport Fire Dept. was dispatched to 114 North Main for an activated fire alarm.

On October 15 at 12:00 am Morris Twp was dispatched to Rt 414 for a one-vehicle rollover crash vehicle on its side. Two Occupants are self extricated walking around Unkown if injured

At 6:41 PM on Saturday, Wellsville ambulance has been called to 1786 County Road 18 for a male fallen from a barn.

Elizabeth A. “Betsy” Snyder, 62, of Roulette, PA, being a lifelong resident of the area and had previously resided in Coudersport, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 13, 2023, in the Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland, Ohio.

Funeral arrangements, entrusted to the care of Kevin J. Dusenbury, funeral director/owner of the Virgil L. Howard Funeral Home, Shinglehouse, are incomplete and will be announced with a full obituary.

At 2:06 PM on Saturday, Emporium Fire Dept. has been called to 42 East Allegany Avenue for a natural gas smell in basement.

At 11:20 AM on Saturday, Coudersport ambulance was called to South Main Street for unknown medical.
