Fire & EMS Calls

On January 23 at 8:20 am Coudersport Fire Dept. was dispatched to the Gunzenberger Annex at 1 North Main St. for an automatic fire alarm. All units have been recalled by Chief 1 false alarm

On January 22 at 3:59 pm, Coudersport Ambulance was dispatched to Sheetz on Rt. 6 in Coudersport for a cardiac emergency.

At 11:56 AM on Monday, Bradford Firefighters have been dispatched to a fire alarm at the YWCA on West Corydon Street.

At 10:00 AM on Monday, Coudersport ambulance has been dispatched to Rt. 6 West for altered mental status.

At 8:15 PM on Sunday, Millerton & Big Elm Fire Dept. have been dispatched to the intersection of Coryland Road & Hickory Road for a one-vehicle rollover crash with one person confined.

On January 21 at 5:21 pm Wellsboro Fire Dept. was dispatched to 21 Waln St. for a structure fire. This is a duplex with smoke showing and unknown occupancy. Elkland has been dispatched as RIT.

At 3:37 PM on Sunday, Kane Fire Dept. has been dispatched to a house fire at 335 Chase Street in the Borough with possible entrapment.

4:00 PM–Most of fire knocked down. Working on overhaul.

At 11:05 PM on Sunday, Liberty, Cogan House Substation & Blossburg Fire & EMS have been dispatched to Route 15 N at MM 168 for a vehicle into the guardrails. A female is reported possibly not injured in another car at the scene.

Cogan House RECALLED.

On January 20 at 7:53 pm, Penfield Fire and Bennetts Valley Ambulance were dispatched for a motor vehicle accident with entrapment. The accident is on State Park Rd. and Oak Stub Rd. in Penfield.

On January 20 at 4:28 pm, Wellsboro, and Morris Fire Depts were dispatched to assist Fire Depts. in Lycoming County with a fully involved cabin fire at 88 Kee Kee Run Rd. in Brown Twp. Lycoming County.

At 4:00 PM on Saturday, Otto Township Fire & TLC Ambulance have been dispatched to a 2-vehicle crash in the area of Rt. 46 & Fitch Hill Road.

At 3:20 PM on Saturday, Coudersport Ambulance has been called to North Hollow Road for chest pains.

Smethport Fire Department Inc. is in Smethport.

A second Vehicle vs Building accident this week in the Borough occurred this morning (1/20/24) at aprx 0726 when SFD was dispatched to JB Distributors on E Water St to find a truck had lost control on ice and crashed into the building. .Engine 24 responded and Capt 230 had command. MA-3 was on scene and confirmed no injuries. The vehicle had minor damage and was able to be driven from the scene. Smethport Borough Police were on scene. All Station 2 personnel were back in quarters at 0810.

At 1:19 PM on Saturday, Kersey Fire & EMS dispatched to Million Dollar Highway & W. Theresa Streets for a 2-vehicle crash with one reported injury.

At 12:40 PM on Saturday, Bradford City Fire & EMS have been dispatched to East Main Street & North Kendall Avenue for a 2-vehicle motor vehicle crash. Minor damage reported.

At 11:40 AM on Saturday, Coudersport Ambulance has been called to Cole Manor for ALC.

On January 20 at 3:55 am, Emporium Fire and Ambulance were dispatched to a snowmobile accident. The teenage male operator crashed the snowmobile head-on into a crossing and fell down a 20-foot embankment near Rt.120. The operator has a head injury. St. Marys is setting up a landing zone. Elkland Search and Rescue has been dispatched to the scene to assist. Air Medical has been dispatched. The boy was flown to a trauma center.

On January 20 at 1:13 am, Bradford City Ambulance was dispatched to evaluate a victim of a motor vehicle accident on Rt 219 North, North of Owens Way.

At 6:12 PM on Friday, Otto Twp. Fire Dept. & TLC ambulance have been dispatched to a one vehicle rollover crash at 601 Rock City Road.

At 5:52 PM on Friday, Port Allegany ambulance has been called to East Ransom Street for a diabetic emergency.

At 5:40 PM on Friday, Lawrenceville, Nelson & Elkland Fire & EMS have been dispatched to the intersection of Rt. 49 & Thorn Bottom Road for a vehicle over the embankment with unknown details.

RECALLED: Vehicle is gone on arrival.

On January 19 at 9:30 am Roulette Ambulance was dispatched to Third St. for altered mental status

On January 19 at 4:50 am Hamlin and Mt Jewett Fire Depts. and Kane and Mt Jewett Ambulance were dispatched to Rt. 6 and Roundhouse Rd. for a two vehicle crash. This is a head-on collision a pickup with a plow vs a passenger vehicle with possibly no injuries. There is also a crash at Roadside Rest

On January 18 at 6:20 pm Kane Fire and Ambulance and Mt. Jewett Ambulance were dispatched to North Fraley St. in front of the Dollar General for a two vehicle crash with two patients for evaluation vehicles are blocking the roadway

At 3:30 PM on Thursday, Mansfield Fire & EMS have been dispatched to East Elmira Street & North Main for a 3 vehicle crash with injuries. One ALS injury reported. Roadway is reported blocked.

Clarksville Volunteer Fire Company, Inc 

Just before 1700 hours Tuesday, our crew was alerted to assist Cuba on the 2nd alarm assignment. Chief 501, Engine 2, and Tanker 7 responded with full crews and assisted on scene with suppression and overhaul operations. Multiple agencies made quick work of the fire but unfortunately the home was a total loss. Our thoughts are with the family.

At 10:00 AM on Thursday, Shinglehouse ambulance has been called to the Health enter for a man ill.

At 9:56 AM on Thursday, Galeton Fire & EMS have been dispatched to 27 Pine Lane in Gaines for a vehicle over the embankment with one person confined.

On January 17 at 6:16 pm Bradford City Ambulance was dispatched to 11 Colonial Heights Dr. for a motor vehicle accident
