At 8:30 AM on Thursday, Germania Fire Dept. was requested to send a tanker to assist Kettle Creek Fire Dept. at a structure fire.

At 9:40 PM on Wednesday, Lawrenceville Fire Dept. was dispatched for an automatic fire alarm at the Laurel Health Center on East Lawrence Road. Negative from outside. Keyholder enroute.

At 3:40 PM on Wednesday, Bradford Twp. Fire Dept. was dispatched to for an activated fire alarm. Chief advises hold in quarters per Zippo request.

At 2:37 PM on Wednesday, Shinglehouse Ambulance was called to the Health Center for a possible MI.

At tonight’s council meeting, Bradford native Brett Butler will be sworn in as the new fire chief for the City of Bradford after former fire chief Eric Taylor assumed the city administrator role. Brett started out in emergency services as a volunteer with Bradford Twp VFD and from there started a career with the City FD in 2012. Brett is a true professional and will take us to the next level of professionalism and service to our community. We have confidence that he will lead with distinction, fostering a strong culture of service, honor and professionalism in our Fire Department. Brett has a management and business degree from The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford as well as advanced fire, rescue and EMS training including fire officer certifications. He resides in our community with his wife and new born son. We wish Brett many years of success as Chief of the department.

On Wednesday morning, Coudersport Ambulance has responded to 2 calls. One to Sweden Valley Manor and another for a dog bite victim.

On April 24, at 2:39 am Olean Fire Dept was dispatched to 623 Seneca Ave. for a house fire. The structure is occupied. Update everyone has evacuated the structure. Portville, Allegany,and Westons Mills were also dispatched.

On April 23, at 7:08 pm Smethport Fire and Port Allegany Ambulance were dispatched to South Mechanic St. and West Willow St. for a two vehicle accident. There is no entrapment
At 3:20 PM on Tuesday, Ludlow Fire Dept. was dispatched to the intersection of FR 243 & FR 243 A for an outside oil tank fire.

A combination of dry fuels, low relative humidity and windy
conditions this afternoon will create an elevated risk of wildfire
spread across much of Central Pennsylvania.
Minimum relative humidity values will range from 20 to 30 percent
accompanied by wind gusts between 20 and 30 mph from the south-
southwest.
Residents are urged to exercise caution if handling any potential
ignition sources, such as machinery, cigarettes, or matches.
If dry grasses and tree litter begin to burn, the fire will have
the potential to spread rapidly.

At 3:34 PM on Monday, Bradford City Fire & EMS dispatched to North Kendall & Euclid Avenue for a 2-vehicle crash with possible entrapment. Three occupants with injuries. Possible entrapment.

At 2:42 PM on Monday, Wilcox, Johnsonburg & Ridgway were dispatched to a 2-vehicle crash near 2129 Rt. 219 by Lindgren’s Furniture. The roadway is completely blocked. There are injuries.

At 12:18 PM on Monday, Roulette Ambulance was called to Third Street for a man ill.

At 12:04 PM on Monday, Port Allegany Fire & EMS were dispatched to 411 East Mill Street for a logging accident. Caller reports a tree fallen on a 42 year old male’s leg. Air medical has been requested. Port Allegany Fire dispatched for LZ.
