At 11:23 AM on Friday, Coudersport ambulance is responding to a diabetic emergency on Brookland Road.

At 11:15 AM on Friday, Kersey Fire Dept. & ambulance are responding to a possible carbon monoxide poisoning at 1184 Million Dollar Highway. Two residents are reporting symptoms.

At 10:38 AM on Friday, Westfield & Knoxville Fire & EMS have been dispatched to a motorcycle/deer crash near 3711 Rt. 49.

At about 8 PM on Thursday, Belfast Fire Dept. was responding to the Genesee River for a water rescue. Multiple resources responded mutual aid. At 10:45 PM, some responding units were being released from the search for a 16 year old male. Allegany County Fire Wire has information in comments.

Several agencies are involved in a reported drowning incident in the Genesee river in the town of Caneadea.
This is now a recovery situation. The recovery is being called off for tonight.
This is an active scene. Please do not try to walk,drive , or enter the area.

On June 20 at 6:39 pm Mansfield was dispatched to Mack Rd. for an automated iPhone reported motor vehicle crash with unknown details. Nothing was found at the scene

At 5:35 PM on Thursday, Westfield & Knoxville have been dispatched to 1626 California Road for a report of a vehicle crash. The call came in as an automatic cellphone report. Owner called back, There is no crash.

At 5:01 PM on Thursday, Coudersport Fire & EMS are responding to Route 49 for a tree fallen on a vehicle trapping the driver.

At 11:30 AM on Thursday, Wilcox Fire & EMS were dispatched to Bendigo Road & State Park Road for a motorcycle accident into a guard rail with a leg injury.

At 11:30 AM on Thursday, Port Allegany Ambulance was called to Carlson Lane for abdominal pain.

On June 20 at 7:39 am Bradford City Fire Dept. was dispatched with Bradford Twp. on standby for an automatic smoke alarm at 18 W. Corydon St.

On June 20 at 7:05 am Mansfield and Tioga were dispatched to RT. 15 mile maker 185 Southbound in Richmond Twp. for a fully involved pickup truck fire

On June 19 at 11:01 pm Eldred Twp. Fire and Port Allegany Ambulance were dispatched to a vehicle Vs. Horse crash on Rt. 155 and Sartwell Creek. Port Allegany Fire Dept. was dispatched for traffic control at Rt. 155 and N. Main in Port Allegany and Rt. 155 and Champlain Hill in Turtle Point. At Larabee Y Eldred Twp. Is detouring Traffic.

At 4:35 PM on Wednesday, Ridgway Fire & EMS are responding to a one-vehicle crash on Portland Mills Road. The driver of the vehicle was initially reported entrapped & unresponsive.

At 2:37 PM on Wednesday, Rushford Fire & EMS was dispatched to Rt. 243 & West Centerville Road for a 2-vehicle crash with injuries.

At 1:55 PM on Wednesday, Emporium Fire & EMS were dispatched to the area of 21013 Memorial Highway in Lumber Township for power lines down on a tractor-trailer with the driver still inside.

On June 18, at 7:11 pm Coudersport Ambulance was dispatched to Ross Glen Rd. for chest pains

On June 18, at 5:05 pm Morris fire Dept. was dispatched to the Rail Trail near Blackwell orWaterville for a search.
Person has been located at a store along the trail about 6:30 PM.

At 8:57 AM on Tuesday, Rushford Fire & EMS were dispatched to Rt. 243 in front of the Dollar General for a 2-vehicle accident with possibly minor injuries. Vehicles are a Dodge minivan & a pickup truck.

At 8:46 AM on Tuesday, Coudersport ambulance is responding to Rt. 6 West for abdominal pain.

At 7:45 AM on Tuesday, EMS has been called to the Allegany County Courthouse in Belmont, NY for a male worker who has fallen from the roof of the building and is reported unresponsive at the time of the call.

PRESS RELEASE
On June 18, 2024, at approximately 7 :40 a.m., the Allegany County Sheriffs Office responded to a report that a person had fallen inside the County Office Building and required medical assistance. Upon arrival, a Deputy located the subject who had fallen down a staircase leading to the roof of the building. Amity Rescue and Medical Transport Services evaluated the subject and transported him to Jones Memorial Hospital for further treatment. The victim was not a County employee and works for a contractor of the County. The incident is under investigation, no further details will be released at this time.

On June 17, at 8:07 pm Port Allegany Fire Dept. was dispatched to Rt. 6 Near D.E.Errick for a small wildfire. Roulette has been dispatched for traffic control. This was caused by a wire down in the roadway. Route 6 was closed. Traffic was detoured to the back side of the river while awaiting crews from the Power Company to repair the line.
