At 6:20 PM on Saturday, Port Allegany Fire Dept. dispatched to 1707 Annin Creek Road for an outside fire.

Town of Olean Volunteer Fire Department

At approximately 6:40 this morning Town of Olean Volunteer Fire Department along with State Police responded to a MVA on Barnum Road. Minor injuries were reported.

On November 11, at 10:55 Pm. Salamanca Water Rescue team dispatched to the abandoned river bridge off rt. 17 for a male possibly gone into the water.

Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office

On 11/11/2022 at 10:50pm the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office was notified that an ATV had been washed away in the flood waters along the Allegheny River near Old Route 17.

At that time the operator of the ATV was able to make it out of the water safely, but had become separated from his passenger. The identity of the passenger was unknown to the driver, and was known to him only as “Matt from Jamestown”.

It is believed the passenger was a white male, possibly in his 40’s, first name of Matt, from Jamestown, NY and possibly drove a tan truck. It is unknown if he was able to get out of the water and make it back to safety.

The Sheriff’s Office is seeking help from anyone that may know the identity of this male, who may have been in the Salamanca area that night, so that we may be able to confirm that he made it out safely.

At 3:10 PM on Friday, Blossburg & Liberty Fire & EMS dispatched to Rt. 15 Northbound, 1 mile north of gravel pit, for a vehicle in the median. No injuries.

At 12:55 PM on Friday, Millerton Fire Dept. has been dispatched to a vehicle fire 5326 Route 328.

At 12:40 PM on Friday, Elkland Fire Dept. has been dispatched to 204 West Main Street for smoke in the building.

All units hold in quarters. Burned food. RECALL.

At 12:22 PM on Friday, Coudersport Fire Dept. has been called to an automatic Fire Alarm at the Rigas residence on Rt. 49.

No fire found. Turned over to homeowner. Fire Dept. returning to station.

At 11:57 AM on Friday, Wellsboro Fire & EMS have been dispatched to 397 Tioga Street for a 3 vehicle crash with possible confinement & multiple injuries. Roadway is partially blocked. One vehicle is on its side in the ditch. Mansfield Ambulance also dispatched. Two injuries are confirmed.

At 10:34 AM on Friday, Shinglehouse ambulance has been dispatched to the Health Center for a psychiatric emergency.

On November 10, at 6:30 pm. Bradford City ambulance was dispatched to 141 Main St. for a vehicle vs. pedestrian crash

At 4:32 PM on Thursday, Blossburg Fire & EMS have been dispatched to an ATV accident with injuries at Water & Lake Street in Hamilton Township. Patient has a head injury.

At 4:30 PM on Thursday, Shinglehouse Fire Dept. has been dispatched to a shed fire at 1299 Route 44 South with a wildfire.

At 3:05 PM on Thursday, Portville Fire Dept. has been dispatched to a wildfire on the Portville-Olean Road.

At 3:02 PM on Thursday, Whitesville Fire & Independence have been dispatched to a 4 wheeler fire setting the woods on fire at 518 Mahoney Road.

Andover, & Rexville requested to assist.

At 12:35 PM on Thursday, Andover & Wellsville Fire Depts. have been dispatched to Tall Pines for a wildfire with camper trailers involved.

Whitesville & Willing dispatched mutual aid. Alfred Station also dispatched.

1:23 PM–This fire is reported to be contained.

At 12:09 AM on Thursday, Eldred Borough, Eldred Township, Port Allegany dispatched to a wildfire behind 61 King Street in Eldred that is spreading rapidly.

Otto & Smethport Fire Depts. dispatched to assist. Portville & Westons MIlls also dispatched. Shinglehouse & Town of Olean dispatched.

Derrick City & Roulette dispatched at 1:19 PM.

At 10:21 AM on Thursday, Ridgway Fire Dept. has been dispatched to a 2 vehicle crash at 103 Center Street. Fluids are leaking & roadway is partially blocked.

At 3:30 PM on Wednesday, Jay Township Fire Dept. has been dispatched ton a wildfire at 13201 Rt. 555 that is endangering a residence and a camp. Kersey & Penfield requested to assist. St. Marys & Sinnemahoning also dispatched as well as DCNR. Elkland SAR with manpower & units also requested.

Bennetts Valley ambulance dispatched for patient evaluation.

4:20 PM–Emporium, Johnsonburg & Ridgway requested mutual aid.

5:45 PM–This fire is now a major forest fire. Multiple, multiple fire units have been dispatched from a wide area to fight this fire.

At 1:45 PM on Wednesday, Port Allegany ambulance has been called to the Little Red Diner on Main Street for a possible stroke.

Air Medical requested to LZ at Ardaugh Glass Plant. Fire Dept. has been dispatched..

At 1:15 PM on Wednesday, Mansfield Ambulance has been dispatched to North Williamson Road for a victim of a motor vehicle accident.
