At 3:32 PM on Wednesday, Roulette Fire Dept. has been dispatched to Railroad Avenue for a tree down in the roadway.
Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) is investigating a series of phone calls made to 911 centers about schools across the Commonwealth involving threats of an active shooter situation or bomb threat.
These phone calls were made to several schools in different counties. All calls have had similar content. All calls are being thoroughly investigated and responded to by law enforcement.
These calls have created lockdowns and/or evacuations of the schools with a large response from police and emergency services.
The PSP has responded to all incidents in our primary coverage areas and has been in contact with municipal law enforcement partners investigating these incidents in their coverage areas.
At this time, all claims in these calls have been determined to be false. All schools involved have been cleared or are in the process of being cleared by law enforcement.
The investigation is ongoing.
At 11:09 AM on Wednesday, Ridgway Fire & EMS have been dispatched to Bootjack Road for a 3 vehicle crash involving a tractor-trailer and 2 small SUVs.
At 9:45 AM on Wednesday, Roulette Ambulance has been called to East Ransom Street for altered level of consciousness.
On March 28 at 5:56 pm Whitesville was dispatched and recalled to a wind turbine fire in the town of West Union
At 1:46 PM on Tuesday, Port Allegany Ambulance has been called to East Ransom Street for altered level of consciousness.
At 9:04 AM on Tuesday, Hilltop Fire Dept. & ambulances from Smethport, Bradford & Port Allegany have been dispatched to a head-on crash with injuries at Rt. 59 & Rt. 646 at Ormsby. Smethport fire rescue dispatched. Report no entrapment.
At aprx 0915 (3/28/23) SFD was dispatched to the intersection of Rt 59 & 646 for a head on collision with minor injuries. Engine 24 responded along with MA-3 and MA-17 which evaluated patients and were treated on scene. Route 59 was closed until vehicles could be removed. Station 2 Fire Police handled traffic around the scene with assistance from 4201 and 21-10. PSP was on scene and Chief 220 had command. Units were clear and road reopened at aprx 0948.

At 2:52 PM on Sunday, Smethport Fire Dept. has been dispatched to Bank Street just outside the borough for a rapidly spreading wildfire.
At 2:23 PM 0n Sunday, Shinglehouse Fire Dept. dispatched to 213 South Mill Street for wires down.
At 1:15 PM on Sunday, Galeton, Wellsboro & Mansfield Fire Depts. have been dispatched to a structure fire at 428 Copp Hollow Road in Shippen Township. It is a fully involved garage fire.
SECOND ALARM. Middlebury, Morris & Clymer dispatched.
At 7:59 PM on Saturday, Belmont Fire & Amity Rescue dispatched to 2 vehicle crash in front of Quicklee’s. Ambulance from Wellsville requested.
At 7:09 PM on Saturday, Whitesville Fire Dept. & Independence Rescue have been dispatched to 782 Rt. 248 for a vehicle into the embankment with heavy damage. Unknown injuries.
At 12:43 PM on Saturday, Westons Mills Fire & EMS have been dispatched to the Steam Valley Road bridge for a motor vehicle into a guardrail crash.
At 10:18 AM on Saturday, Derrick City Fire Dept. dispatched for possible house fire at 317 Derrick Road. Chief 11 on scene reporting light smoke in the residence. Believed to be electrical in nature.
All fire units can return per Chief 11. Otto Twp. RECALLED. Power surge, no fire.

There are multiple trees & wires down across the entire coverage area. Use caution while driving!!
At 8:40 AM on Saturday, Port Allegany Fire Dept. dispatched to Route 6 for trees & wires down.
At 8:40 AM on Saturday, Shinglehouse Fire Dept. dispatched to Kings Run Road for tree & wires down blocking the roadway.
At 8:20 AM on Saturday, Wellsboro Fire Dept. has been called to Park Hill Manor at 21 Grant Street for a fire alarm. Evacuation is in progress. Police have been requested to scene.
At 6:30 PM on Friday, St. Marys Fire Dept. has been dispatched to a structure fire off Fillmore Avenue behind the Graftech facility.

At 3:47 PM on Friday, Kane Fire & EMS have been dispatched to the area of 3996 Route 6 in Wetmore Township for a report of a motor vehicle accident.
RECALLED. Call was from alarm company reporting a serious accident. Driver left cell phone on roof which fell off and sent a message reporting a crash to the alarm company. Ai is not always accurate.
