Bruce J. Haight, 66, of Smethport, passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at UPMC Cole, Coudersport.

He was born on January 24, 1958 in Bradford; a son of the late Edward and Freda Exley Haight.

He was a graduate of the Bradford Area High School.

Bruce was an avid fisherman who loved taking his grandchildren and great grandchildren fishing.  He enjoyed camping, watching local car races and spending time with his friends and family.  When he was younger; he also enjoyed hunting.

He was a U.S. Army veteran who served from September 1976 until his honorable discharge in December 1979.

He is survived by his longtime companion, Darlene McMahon of Bradford; three daughters, Candy Sikes, Bobbi Jo (Chris) Wixson and Tammy McMahon all of Bradford; one sister, Nancy (Jack) Crum of Rew; four grandchildren, Jessica McMahon, James McMahon, Amber Gamble and Ashley Wixson; ten great grandchildren; one great great-granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents; he was also preceded in death by two brothers.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 17, 2024 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at the Mascho Funeral Home, Inc.
