Bobby Jo Reid, 41, of Bradford, PA passed away on Monday, January 8, 2024.

She was born on July 19, 1982 in Olean, NY, a daughter of the late Gary, Sr. and Winifred McCracken Reid.

She attended Bradford Area schools.

Bobby Jo loved teaching all the kids in her family how to swim and spending time with her family; especially her grandbabies.  She was a dedicated and hard worker throughout her life.  She was also a free spirit who loved travelling across the country.  When she was a little girl she was a “poppy girl” for the Bradford American Legion Post 108.  She also enjoyed going to her nephew Buck’s sporting events.

She was employed by Seneca Manufacturing Co., Salamanca prior to working at Keystone Powdered Metal, Lewis Run.

She is survived by one daughter, Winnie Reid of Bradford; two sons, Kaleb Newbrough of Lewis Run and Garrett Newbrough of South Carolina; one brother, Gary (Megan) Reid, Jr. of Bradford; two sisters, Rachel Reid of Bradford and Michelle Whitmer of Stephens City, VA; two grandbabies, Zayden and Alec Roggenbaum both of Bradford; two nieces, Courtney and Aleigha and one nephew, Gary “Buck”.

A celebration of Bobby Jo’s life was held on Sunday, January 14^th at the Bradford Eagles’ Club with Dan Williams officiating.

Memorial contributions in her name can be made to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of WNY, 780 West Ferry St., Buffalo, NY  14222.
