Barry L. HART, 79, of Gaines, PA, formerly of Lititz, died Saturday, August 17, 2024 in UPMC Williamsport.

Born August 9, 1945, in Columbia, PA, he was the son of John and Helen Gohn Hart. On August 20, 1965, in Lititz, he married the former Shireen “Sherry” Bealler, who survives. A machinist, he was employed by Woodstream from 1962 — 1967 and Machinery Products from 1967 — 1992. He owned and operated GAM Manufacturing in Lancaster from 1997 until his retirement. Barry was a member of the Manheim Masonic Lodge, Masonic Auto Unit, and several bowling leagues. An outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, boating, water-skiing, four-wheeling, snowmobiling, and riding motorcycle.

Surviving besides his wife, Sherry, are: a daughter, Traci Wagg; two granddaughters, Laine (Noah) Strine and Miranda (Andrew) Guethler; four great-grandchildren, Hadley, Watson, Jameson, and Lawson; three siblings, Michael (Pat) Hart, Sandra Hart, and Sharon Strother; nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Earl “Buck” Hart. A gathering to celebrate Barry’s life will be held on a late date. Cremation was at OLNEY-FOUST Private Crematory. Memorials may be made to any Masonic charity.
