Frank G. Siegl, age 68 of Addison passed away on Sunday, September 1, 2024 at Arnot Ogden Medical Center in Elmira after a long courageous battle with cancer.
Born April 19, 1956 in Rochester, NY, he was the son of the late Frank X. and Shirley C. (Carey) Siegl. Frank worked for Storflex for 21 years and he was a former member of the Eagles. He married Diane D. Meise and they shared 35 years together until her passing on December 19, 2011. Frank was an avid outdoorsman; he enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and stock car racing. He was the crew chief for his nephew, Bryan Terwilliger and B4 motorsports. He like to putter around the house, family get togethers and he was his grandson, Aiden’s best friend.

Charlotte Evelyn McCallum, age 35 of Elkland passed away on Thursday, August 29, 2024 unexpectedly at her home in Farmington Twp.
Born October 18, 1988 in Allentown, PA, she was the daughter of Philip R. Rims and Bunny E. Lockett. Charlotte graduated from beauty school but most importantly was a caregiver to her husband, Jason E. McCallum until his passing on January 1, 2024. Charlotte loved fairies and helped out at the family store, Enchanted Hollow in Wellsboro. She was very artistic and creative; making arts and crafts, pottery and painting. She had a green thumb and loved gardening, especially her vegetables and flowers. Charlotte was a special ray of sunshine, always smiling, always a social butterfly willing to talk to anyone.

Walter R. Simpson, 78, of Warren, PA, passed away on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, in Kinzua Healthcare and Rehab Center, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on September 5, 1945, in Warren, PA, the son of the late Walter R. and Lovena Simpson. He was a graduate of Warren Area High School.
After high school, Walter served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War and served in the Army National Guard. His awards are as follows: National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Air Force Good Conduct Medal with a second award, Air Force Commendation Medal, Republic of Vietnam Unit Cross of Gallantry, United States Air Force Presidential Unit Citation, U. S. Air Force Presidential Unit Citation, Army Good Conduct with 3 leaves, and the Army Commendation Medal.

Eli L. Schneider, 88, of Canfield Hollow passed away on Friday (July 19, 2024) at home surrounded by his loving family.
Born on December 24, 1935 in Gaines he was the son of Charles Raymond and Matilda Olive May Gilbert Schneider. On May 10, 1958 in Eldred, he married Connie M. McDivitt who survives.

Robert E. “Bob” Howard Sr
Robert E. “Bob” Howard Sr, 68, of Lincoln St. passed away on August 12, 2024 at Olean General Hospital from a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Olean, NY and previously lived in Port Allegany, PA., Bradford, PA., and Limestone, NY., he was the some of the late John and Bertha Howard. Robert (Bob) was an avid fisherman, hunter, and pool player as well as a DJ aka DJ Bob.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp. Robert was loved by many friends and family.

Judith A. “Judy” Olson, 72, of Smethport, passed away Wednesday (September 4, 2024) at Lakeview Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Smethport.
Arrangements will be announced by the Hartle-Tarbox Funeral Homes, Inc., Smethport.

On September 5, at 3:45 pm Ulysses and Harrison were dispatched for a land rescue near Lehman Hollow Rd and Forks Rd. for an atv accident in the woods on a trail. Two ambulances were dispatched. An Atv has been dispatched from Genesee Fire Dept.

On September 5, at 12:16 pm Austin Fire and Ambulance were dispatched to 5172 E. Fork Rd. for a one vehicle roll over with one patient possibly no injuries but the patient is confined in the vehicle.

On September 5, at 6:48 am Coudersport Ambulance was dispatched to Sweden Valley Manor to transport a patient to Charles Cole Hospital
