PennDOT developed an online tool called Find My Ride that allows older drivers to access free ride services online
Mechanicsburg, PA – With drivers 65 years of age and older on the rise in Pennsylvania, the Shapiro Administrationhosted an event today at Messiah Lifeways in Mechanicsburg to highlight the unique challenges faced by older drivers during Older Driver Safety Awareness Week, and emphasize the resources the Administration offers to provide accessible and flexible transportation alternatives to older adults.

Route 14 Closed in South Creek Township, Bradford County
Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised that Route 14 is closed in both directions between Roaring Run Road (Route 4034) and Coryland Road (Route 4031) in South Creek Township, Bradford County, due to a vehicle crash.
A detour using Roaring Run Road and Coryland Road is in place. Motorists should be alert, slow down, expect delays in travel and drive with caution.

PFBC Announces New, Low-Cost Online Boating Safety Education Course
HARRISBURG, Pa. (December 5) – The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission (PFBC) is excited to announce the availability of a new, low-cost online boating safety education course!
The course, offered in partnership with the nonprofit BoatUS Foundation for Boating Safety and Clean Water, is available for only $17, is approved by both the PFBC and National Association of State Boating Law Administrators (NASBLA), and recognized by the United States Coast Guard.

Mark G. Carapellatti of Independence Drive passed away on Thursday, December 5, 2024, at Olean General Hospital.
Mark was born on April 25, 1963, in Olean and was the son of Raymond W. and Patricia A. Barr Carapellatti.
Mark was a 1981 graduate of Archbishop Walsh. He worked many jobs in the Olean Area. In 1992 he opened On the Side Liquor which he operated until 2009. Mark enjoyed watching and attending NASCAR races.
