- WHAT…Heavy lake effect snow. Additional snow accumulations of
1 to 3 feet in the most persistent bands. Winds gusting as high
as 55 mph. Wind chills as cold as 30 below zero. - WHERE…Chautauqua county. Greatest snow amounts in the far
northern and western portion of the county. - WHEN…Until 1 AM EST Monday.
- IMPACTS…Travel could be very difficult to impossible.
Widespread blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility.
Strong winds could cause tree damage. The cold wind chills as
low as 30 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in
as little as 30 minutes.

* WHEN…Until 1 AM EST Monday. Lake effect snow will move back
south into the area overnight through Sunday.
INSTRUCTIONS: Widespread accumulating snow will create dangerous travel
conditions.
