Memorial butterfly release set for August 1 at BRMC
Bradford, PA – On Thursday, August 1, Bradford Regional Medical Center (BRMC), a Kaleida Health facility, will be hosting a Memorial Butterfly Release at 3pm. The event will take place at the Tranquility Garden outside the front entrance of the hospital.
The Bradford Hospital Foundation invites anyone looking to honor and celebrate the memory of their loved ones through a live butterfly release. The cost is $20 per butterfly. Participants are asked to reserve their butterflies ahead of time as there are a limited number available.
“We’re excited to bring this event back again for our community,” said Stacy Williams, executive director, Bradford Hospital Foundation. “This is such an intimate ceremony for those who attended. It’s something special, and emotional, to see the butterflies being released to memorialize those who we’ve lost.”
