Angelica Community Radio presents Shakespeare’s “Henry V” outdoors in Park Circle
Angelica, NY…. Angelica Community Radio, Allegany County’s premier non-profit radio station, proudly presents this professional touring production on Sunday, July 28th at 3:00 p.m. in Angelica’s Park Circle. The production is made possible with funding obtained by Angelica Community Radio for the benefit of its community.
Shake on the Lake Theatre Company (SOTL) is based in Perry, NY. Shake on the Lake’s professional actors delight audiences through intimate shows performed outdoors in daylight inspired by Elizabethan staging practices.
Henry V will be performed in Shake on the Lake’s signature style: fun, fast, and physical. 5 actors will portray nearly 40 characters in a new, audience-engaging adaptation that includes original music from Matt Duncan, Chad Bradford, Tim Cooper, and the rest of the cast.
Bring a lawn chair and a friend and immerse yourself in the world of William Shakespeare. Designed and staged for Shakespeare newbies and Bard aficionados alike. Appropriate for all audiences. Approx. Running Time: 90 minutes with no intermission. All shows begin with live pre-show music. You are not late if you hear music!
In case of inclement weather, the show will move to the Angelica Grange Hall on Park Circle.
