Jackie Lee Thompson, age 69, of Elkland, PA passed away on July 18, 2024 at UPMC Wellsboro. Born November 3, 1954 in Blossburg PA, he was the son of the late Frank and Margaret (Gill) Thompson.

Jackie enjoyed fishing, playing cards and family picnics. He had no children of his own but considered his nieces (6 sisters) his guardian angels.

Jackie is survived by his nieces, Heather (Greg) Patterson of Salcha AK, Dora (Jamie) Huntington of Elkland, Donna (Ed) Hartman of Keeneyville, Cegi Ball of Mansfield and Vickie Mosher of Clark Summitt, PA; his sisters, Anna Thompson of Altoona and Elizabeth Carolyn of Telford, PA; special friends, Vickie and Bart Krause of Australia and Larry and Maria Krause of NY and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

He was preceded in death by a niece, Heaven Ives; brothers, Merl, George and John Thompson and several other siblings.

Family will receive friends at Kenyon Funeral Home, 214 W. Main St., Elkland on Thursday, July 25th from 5:00 – 7:00 PM. A funeral service will be held immediately following at 7:00 PM with Erroll Wilson, Native American Chaplain officiating. Graveside service and burial will be held on Friday, July 26th, 11:00AM at Middlebury Union Cemetery.
