Colette Linea Carlson, 38, of Coudersport, PA, passed away surrounded by family and loved ones following a long battle with cancer on Thursday, July 18, 2024.
Colette was born September 11, 1985, in Olean, NY, the daughter of Rob and Alisa Hayes Haskins, who survive. She was a 2004 graduate of Coudersport High School and earned a degree in Graphic Design at Pittsburgh Technical Institute.
She was employed as Assistant Manager at McDonaldās. After leaving McDonaldās, Colette traveled with Dustin pipelining across the country and seeing beautiful historical sights and beaches in Northern and Southern California, spending their time off hiking the Bay Area. She worked at Best By Foods upon coming off the road with Dustin where she loved the people she worked with until her cancer diagnosis in September of 2022.
Colette had a passion for art and loved bringing things to life and seeing them on display. Her canine companion and daughter, Rodie, was Coletteās world and would tag along wherever they went on an adventure. Together they would spend endless time on walks and hikes, forever loving each other.
Colette loved her stepchildren endlessly, watching Bentlee grow, playing and building legos and art projects together and helping out with his homework. She enjoyed having girlsā night with Nevaeh, watching movies or walking around town and going to old antique stores to look at all the old furniture and dĆ©cor and going to all of her sporting events. Colette truly loved them as her own, taking them to her parentsā house to play outside with her nieces and nephew. It was a blessing to watch them grow and to share all of the special moments together. Colette loved endlessly and gave freely of herself to help others and animals in need.
In addition to her parents, Colette is survived by her longtime companion and fiancƩ, Dustin Butler of Coudersport; two stepchildren, Nevaeh and Bentlee Butler of Coudersport; brother, Brandon Haskins of Olean, NY; two nieces, Arieona and Olivia; one nephew, Wyatt.
Colette was preceded in death by her first husband, Ashley Wayne Carlson.
Friends will be received at Peterson-Blick Funeral Home, 1003 Penna Ave. East, Warren, PA, on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, from 4:00pm to 7:00pm and for one hour prior to a funeral service to be held at Grace United Methodist Church, 501Penna Ave. East, Warren, PA, at 11:00am on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, with Reverend Bill Beatty, pastor, officiating. Burial to follow in Wesleyan Cemetery.
